- Sometimes when you're wanting to camp in a place you never have before, you don't really know which site to reserve, or what they look like. We made this video to try and give you a view of what is our favorite campground.
You can also check out pictures of the individual sites at campsitephotos.com, but we wanted to provide a video experience of walking through the Cades Cove Campground.
Thanks so much for this walk through of cades cove. It helped us make our decision on choosing a spot suitable for our Rpod and Clam. We stayed this week over thanksgiving and loved it there!! Thanks and put up more of campground walk throughs!!!

I do plan to continue doing these, whenever we visit a new campground where we haven't done one.
We want viewers to be able to see the site they are booking, because we too have experienced having to book a site unseen.

The A numbered spots are the handicapped sites, thanks for the video, I use it every year to choose a spot!

@NCMemoryMakers I lived there for a while in the Springs. Was gonna retire there, but man the cost of living there sky rocketed. I am just outside North Myrtle Beach currently and love it.
This video brought back a lot of memories My late husband and I (and some times our two sons) camped here many times over the years and always enjoyed it.

Glad you enjoyed it. I didn't really know if a video like this would be helpful, but I remember trying to book at another Smokies campground last summer, and wishing someone had done a walk-through of it. So, I decided to do one here, since this is a popular campground. I wish I could have gotten each site in more detail, but that's tough to do when people are sitting there in their sites starting at you.
Many thanks for the video! Confirmed what I already thought that we'll probably never stay at Cades Cove. Way too crowded and no privacy. Also 2 bathrooms for 76 sites on the C-Loop?!?!

We personally love this campground, and never really had an issue with the bathrooms. But we also understand it isn't for everyone, and want viewers to make an informed decision.

@@NCMemoryMakers Yes your walkthrus are super helpful. I've watched all of them for the campgrouds in the NC mtns area. I was able to make specific notes about the sites we'd prefer.
Does it electric outlet for an electric vehicle at the spaces ? Thank you and awesome 👏 video…
I don't think they do. This is a National Park campground, so its pretty primitive.
Great video, do they have food storage box's for motorcycle campers?
According to the NPS website that I just looked at, it says they do have a "limited number" of them. You'd probably want to call ahead and make sure you reserve a site that has one.
Do they have showers for the tent campers ?
None of the National Park campgrounds have showers, but many outside the National Park do. For a shower here, you would either need to bring a portable one, or construct your own. We make our own from PVC pipe.
