- Window screens get damaged because of kids, pets, or accidents! You don't have to live with ugly screens with holes and rips. Here's how you can easily repair them! (TIP: You can use kid- and pet-resistant screening, too, that doesn't rip easily!)

I find the job much easier if you roll the screen into the track using the tool first before adding the spline.
Thanks for the tip! You mean it helps to create a crease there in the track so it's easier to add the spline?
@@ThriftDiving Yes! It keeps the material from becoming too taunt.
So, cut out the screen like she says, then use the spline tool, then put the spline in, and use the tool again?
Haha how did you know?!?! I have all the stuff to do it but it helps to see how easy it is…
It's very easy! It's just not a "fun" project so it's easy to put off. LOL
I did mine today. No mans help lol love learning
This helps, thanks
I’ve gotta do that with every one of my windows.. all the screens are shredding
Sounds like a nice weekend DIY project! :)
My dog literally jumped out TWO of my screens so this will keep the landlord off my a$$. You’re doing gods work 😂
Lol, glad I could help!!!
Whats a good brand for the window screen roll?
It’s hard to keep the screen tight on your own. Are there any tools that could help me do it on my own?
I'd recommend doing one side and then pulling tight gently on the other side, then doing the top and bottom. See if that works! :)
I just might do this as soon as I find two screens that fell off
Squirrels ripped up all my screens. Thank you.
There is a company that makes animal-resistant window screening! I can't remember the name but if you google it, you should find it. You'll have to order it online!
