My daughter is 4 and she’s in speech therapy . I was told and believe Covid restricted her with speech development. She was so sheltered during that time . Like Amari her speech came a mighty long way lol I’m extremely proud

Read to him more, but don't just read, have him tell you what's going to happen next or what he think should happen next or what would he do. Also, don't be afraid to correct him as soon as he says something wrong. I did that with my kinds and they grew up with awesome speaking reading and writing. Amari sounds fine to me.

@@ShaniqueBuntyn Hi Shanique, I've always said that your hair is very beautiful and I see it all the time on my daughters head. Y'all's hair is very similar. And you guys even kinda look alike. She's 33. I haven't straightened my hair since 2013. I may do it next year. And keep working with your son, he'll do fine. Do you give him probiotics?

Hair is gorgeous!! Definitely straighten my hair in winter because the summer is a waste because the heat will kill my straight hair!!

I straighten in the Fall/Winter but I now do the "Anthony Dickey (from Hair Rules) wash n go" method which has done wonders for my hair so I am not sure when I'll go straight again. 🙂

Hey, I was wondering do you feel like the "healthy natural curly" is different from "healthy natural straight hair"? Last, i enjoyed the song at the end. Seeing others clean is always motivation for me to do the same. Thank!

Straight in the winter. Braids in summer. It's 102 degrees here in Sacramento in the summertime .A silk press will last five minutes.

If I did, press my hair. I would do it in the winter since less humidity where I live in the winter. It would last longer for me.

Why you decided silk press your hair again in this year?
I saw curly hair people they like using heat to curl hair after straightening, looks more polished softer curls sometimes when you did heatless method, just making sure lower heat using flat iron frist time straightening and using heat protection will be safe .

Not sure your life style is but If you are not a very busy parents try to read to him as much time you get or if not,at bedtime. Cut back on screen time, thirty minutes a day or chose the days to watch tv. Let him watch more educational videos. Reminder, don't forget to dpend a lot of time playing and talking to him. They grow up fast.

My son is 4 and he is currently doing speech therapy and it has helped but he still has a hard time explaining why which causes him to become frustrated and upset. So his therapist recommended modeling sentences for him. Ex: i am mad because i need help or i am mad because he took my toy.so that way next time he knows how to communicate his frustration. So when i notice him getting frustrated or any other emotion i watch him closely to see what is happening so i can better help him communicate it. She also recommeded using a sentence builder to help increase his vocabulary so he is able to explain things more.
