In the last few years, Zoom has become the go-to tool for coaches and content creators to connect with their audience.
When hosting an online virtual events, Zoom can be used to easily stream your meeting or webinar with just a few clicks.
In this step-by-step guide, I'll show you how to...
1. Enable streaming in your Zoom Account
2. Install the Zoom app in your Facebook Group
3. Go live from Zoom to Facebook
NOTE: Here are a few requirements for this to work….
1. You need a Facebook group - I would recommend a private group
2. You’ll also need to install the Zoom app into the group.

This was helpful thank you. The only issue I am having now is that when I select share to groups it comes up with only one group that I am a member of but not an admin of. How can I get it to pull up all of the groups I am an admin of?

That was so clear. thank you! Just one hiccup : when I'm choosing which FB group to stream to (as you described at 4.24), the group I want doesn't appear, nor can it be found when I type in the name and do a search. How do I solve this ?

Ugh. I guess I finally figured it out. So now I have to go into my private Facebook group home page, click on the 3 dots in the right hand corner next to the search icon, under the invite button. Once you click the 3 dots, go to Apps, and give Zoom or the app you want to use permission to aces the group. This is an additional step after linking the App to the group.
Bruce - I appreciate this info. For some reason, even though I've done everything you described, I'm still unable to GO LIVE into my FB Group. I've walked through these steps before and had success... but it just isn't working this time. Any ideas of what I could be doing wrong?

Thanks for the video. I added the app to my fb group, but the group is not showing up when I start my zoom meeting. I mentioned that I have to do something with permissions in the group for the app but I don't see an option to do that. Any suggestions?

Hi I followed your instructions and they are great. This worked for a while now I can’t live stream into my private groups anymore. I see the live stream options are on for my scheduled meetings. When I click more in Zoom, I can’t see my new groups added. Apparently some people have been having these issues. I can’t get any Zoom support in a timely manner. Can you help? Thanks.

At 2.00 minutes you speak about edit to configure your live stream during the meeting. But the windows of the Stream URL and the Stream Key are empty. Where can I find them?
Hi, the stream url and stream key will come from Facebook or whichever tool is receiving the video. If you want to share to facebook then facebook will generate the url/Key for you.

I also did de settings in an upcomming meeting but .......
it looks like I do not have a an edit button below LIVE STREAM. I see a button confugure custom streaming service and there I see that I can make the dot blue that say configure live stream during the meeting but It is not possible to save it.
The stream URL is empty and the stream key is empty. What did I do wrong.

Hello, I'm an Admin of a few facebook groups and we live stream but when I click on "Select Group" it only shows one group and there's no way to add any other facebook groups. How did you get all your groups on the dropdown?

there is no configure during live stream box on a scheduled meeting. Everything else is done correctly though

how do you live stream to 2 Facebook Groups at the same time?
This does Not work for me the problem I am Is that stuff won’t even pop up on my screen I keep getting a Facebook will not connect with Zoom what the heck do I do then? Other than get annoyed and frustrated. I can’t get any help from Zoom because they don’t offer support and unless I upgrade and I already pay for an account. Three dots and it will not connect to zoom there’s a problem somewhere and I don’t know where it is. Can you help with that?
Question: Approximately 2:09 minutes you said to check the box that says-Configure Live Stream during meeting is checked, The problem is that it wants me to fill out all the boxes above which I have not idea what that would be??? I ran into an issue when creating a new private facebook group. It was not showing up in the dropdown list of groups on the go live page on zoom. All the settings were correct. I finally discovered that when you get page where you choose which group to livestream into, you need to click on the facebook security link and then choose the group. My new group was not automatically listed even when I followed all of the steps.
Question: When I go live, my camera on zoom is mirrored and looks great. But on FB the video does not mirror my camera, my face looks weird. Any solutions?
Hi Raul! Thanks for watching. So you can adjust the mirrored setting inside of the zoom preferences. That will flip it horizontally if needed. There should be a checkbox to enable/disable.
