Celia was too sweet. It wasn't fair how everyone else treated her.
Wish she would treat her chickens better. Damn I got scared of her in that scene.
She was too good for those people anyway.
@@whitneyyoung3061 right! Never understood why she wanted to hang out with all of those other tacky women.
Happens all the time to very beautiful and kind women
@@alimichalkan8046Yeah, poor chicken. 😢
These two are hilarious together and definitely needed one another for different reasons. They truly balanced each other out.
Absolutely, they were adorable together! Loved this movie so much ❤
Yes! They came into each others lives at the perfect time & every time I watched them together I couldn’t help but smile. “Minnie don’t burn no fried chicken”.
I especially loved when Mr. Johnny came home & Minnie ran from him thinking he was gonna hurt her 🤣. Then came inside to see what Cecilia cooked for her that she’d been workin on the night before ❤.
I couldn't agree more. 👍☺️
What's the movie title?
@@Soleil-u7r The movie is called The Help. It's a really good watch.
I know they say Minnie helped her out a lot emotional and physically around the house. But really I think they needed each other. Didn't Minnie get the courage to leave her abusive husband after she met Celia?
Yes! Celia gave her enough money and courage to leave him behind.
😮😮😮😮😮😮
It does help her a lot if she leaves her husband the first is to face economic problems
Yes, she did. They helped each other and became friends and gave Minnie a well-paying forever job as long as she wanted it.
Please, What is the title of this film?
Two outcasts that came together ❤
Love the beautiful relationship that developed between the two characters
❤
Yes
Mrs Cecilia was literally the most adorable character in the whole movie
*EDIT* Thank you all for the likes ❤️
But to those of you who keep trying to troll the comments we see you.
The name of the movie is called "The Help" it's about prestigious families in the south around circa 1950's US and their hired help (usually black women which was about the only job they could have) and the women's experiences working for these families during that time. If I'm not mistaken I believe it's based on an actual book.
Can't agree enough! It was swet of her to bring her exfriend a pie
Minnie actually is but Celia is a close second.
I love everything about these two. Great performances from both.
I have to go with Minnie on that one but only by 1 point. Nah, got to be a 45/45 and 10 goes to Cecilia's husband. He's cute and geeky at the same time. I have GOT to watch this film 🌹❤️🌹
I want to be friends with both of them ❤
Poor Celia! The local women shun her & she’s living like a friendless hermit while her husband works. She needed Minnie as not only a mentor but as a friend. Poor Minnie, she had to tolerate years of verbal abuse & racist insults while also dealing with the abusive husband. These two needed each other & their friendship is wonderful to watch as it blossoms.
Context:
Celia married the catch of the town that Hilly, the towns queen bee, wanted.
Hilly is not a nice person and excluded Celia from all social gatherings to punish her.
@@kittikats
Spoiler for context!!!
no, Hilly and John were dated. Once John and Hilly break up, he then goes out with Celia. But not long after, Celia got pregnant and got married. Hilly then thought Celia and John were going behind her back while she and John dated. So she spread that rumor to the whole town.
@wiinownaa and Hilly STILL wants him, my context isn't wrong.
@@kittikats
On 👉
Also because Celia was poor hilly believed that HER man was stolen by "poor white trash" for a chance at station because in the eyes of bitter women like hilly why marry for love?
Minnie is not a babysitter. She's a maid.
She was her babysitter as a xhild
@@Tamtam-uw8kbno.
I knew someone would be a smartass about the title.
@@kellyjo4070Title's a little cruel considering the reason she doesn't have children.
@@kellyjo4070yeah those damn people who know what accurate and inaccurate are.
Minnie knew the moment Celia grabbed her arm that Miss Celia was not a racist 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Yeah! I didn't notice. It is a great detail!
Yup just noticed that!
Shiiiit, she offered her a Coke!
Please what's the name of this movie or show ?
@@Heatevjfv - it’s called THE HELP
Funny part is her husband knew about Minny all along and saw how much better Celia got so he just never said anything and then at the end he told Minny to please stay or something and it was so sweet
I thought it was hilarious that he knew right from day 1 because the cooking was suddenly good. 😂
He went out of his way to follow her and was like GIRL listen
I loved seeing Celia and Minny bond through this movie. ❤
I love their authentic, vulnerable relationship!!!
Name of movie please!

@@Melissa-o1u3c The Help
Every woman around her mistreated her so much off of jealousy, her poor maternal life, and how stressful life was for her, she was still able to find joy and greet Minnie with respect. She is the definition of a pure soul
Also because she was born poor.
This is classic black cat and golden retriever energy. You can't tell me Minnie didn't adopt her in this movie.
What a perfect description of their characters!
Well....????? Two characters in a movie.... One, I really didn't care for..
😂😂😂😂😂 sim. Essa analogia ficou muito boa.

ALL BOW TO THE KIND COMMENTER! thank you so much, I really dislike when videos don't tell where clips are from :')

This was such an amazing movie!❤
The relationship between Minnie and Celia was the most amazing part of the film. I really wish they made a sequel.
What movie is this? And can I watch it on Netflix?
@@TocaFaith-j3fits it's called the help
Ms. Celia just wanted to be friends with everyone! She treated everyone like a normal human! Hated how she was treated in the movie but loved that she was just a good person!

@@Lilkk49 the Help
I really like Celia, she's such an angel. I'm glad she met Minnie when she needed help the most in her life.
Celia was my favorite character. I wish I could have a Celia as a friend in my life. ❤
Don’t we all! Someone sweet and genuine, who doesn’t gossip.
Yep we all do...
The best relationship in a film filled with talented women. Jessica and Octavia were flawless in The Help. ❤
Celia had that golden retriever energy and Minnie was that elderly grumpy cat
They loved each other and had a special bond .. I loved them together and they deserved each other so much. Great actresses ❤😊
Perfect description, that's why they worked so great together ❤❤
Nem precisa ser uma gata idosa, só gata 😂
Celia is my favorite. She's so sweet. She feels so flawed because of her past and inability to carry a child to full term that she doesn't see any room to judge others. To her, she wants to love people and hope that they look past her mistakes. Such a beautiful character.
This both women needed each other, both have hearts of gold
I love that the "maid" is such a strong person!
A Courageous & Brilliant CHARACTER she played that PART PERFECTLY
She told Skeeter & Abline we need some insurance. That pie was INSURANCE 😂😅
Companionship is so vital for thriving! Everyone needs someone!
Thank you, beloved. I KNOW, your ❤ is gentle. 😊
Everytime I watch this movie I always be repeating the same thing
“You is smart, you is kind, you is important.”
I really like Cecilia she was really sweet, he married a woman not from they town and they made her the miserable
No sass-mouthing Minnie Johnson. I really need a maid. I really need a job. Great. Then it's a fit! In more ways than one. These two were the best part of this movie.
Minny Jackson
I love the strain at first but by the end of the movie they have a pure relationship akin to friends and almost family at least for the time period they live in and the heavy racism going on at the time. And seriously this scene is impactful because a white woman offered a cold coke-a-cola to a black woman. Something no one at that time would ever dare to do, let alone allow a colored person to enjoy in their house! It is subtle show of how much more different Celia is from Hilly and how both women treated Minnie.
👀
Miss Celia was the best person. Such a sweetheart.
She’s not a babysitter, she’s a maid.
She is such a pure soul ❤
I love Minnie. She was an awesome character!
I agree, you just want to hug her! So tough on the outside and marshmallow on the inside! Love how she reminds herself not to sass!!
Celia is such a precious human being 🥺💗
Cecillia was my favorite character, she has such a pure heart.
As a blk person we love us the genuine sweet adorable ones like ms Celia.
The world needs more Celia’s and lots more Minnie’s
Jessica Chastain plays Miss Celia perfectly. I love Miss Celia. The way she says Johnny don't know she's bringing in help is like a child telling little porkies.
I would help Miss Celia and want to be her friend. I think she would be a lot of fun 🤣❤
He knew the first day.😂😂 I love how he kept their little secret to.❤
Also very high maintenance, but so worth it. Would love to be friends with them both.
Great film. What is the title?
Celia is the sweetest! Everyone treated her so poorly! And that scene when she loses her baby makes me cry everytime! She did not deserve that! 😢❤️🩹
If you can be like any one be a miss Celia , her heart was absolutely beautiful love this character
The book is really good as well
Even better ❤ Books are always better
Is Minnie and Ceila's relationship just ad good in the book as it is in the movie?

I love the way she says, "it ain't working out too good."
This character is wonderful. Clearly the embodiment of a Golden Retriever ❤
I really love their relationship 😭❤️
She didn't hire a "babysitter ". She hired a "maid". Get the facts straight before you attempt to write, or present, something.
Have you watched the movie The Woman had numerous miscarriages she was pregnant and lost that baby she wasn't looking for a babysitter. She was hiring a maid
Celia so sweet and so nice I feel so bad how everyone treats her . She loves caring for other people . ❤❤
A sweet moment that shows each one “needs” the other to get through the heartbreak of Minnie being beaten then fired and Celia’s miscarries and not sharing the heartache with her husband.
This is the most beautiful scene of friendship and respect of 2 wounded people helping one another .. love 💕
I've never seen or heard of this movie . Why? It looks like an award winner .
You would be correct
It is a phenomenal movie. You should watch it
The book is great as well.
Lol it was... it's about 12 years old...was pretty big when it dropped though.
Maybe you aren't old enough or too old. The Help was first a best seller then an award winning movie twelve years ago. I don't go to the movies like I used to but I read the book.
I loved The Help & it’s INCREDIBLE cast! There were so many life lessons in the movie 🎥 ❤
I love the friendship that develops between Celia and Minnie. They each help the other out more than they know.
I love Minnie and Celia’s relationship
their dynamic is one of my favorites bc Celia was genuinely friendly and kind!! just a bubbly lil sweetheart with a lot of hurt behind her smile 🥺
I love how nice she was to her on here ❤❤❤❤ the husband too
These two women really empowered one another in so many ways! I love this movie. It really shows rich history and how everyday people lived and survived in that era. We will never have to endure this pain today because of strong women and people like this. We have to uplift each other as humans and as women too!
I need a Minnie in my life.

Jessica chastin is always a delight to watch. Her charecter here is one of many very enjoyable stories within the story. Her triumph is so satisfying. The way she and minnie took to each other would make a freat sequel.
Celia was so sweet and she definitely needed Minnie to help shape her. 🥰🥰🥰🥰💜💕♥️💙🌹🌹🌹👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Kindred spirits are kindred spirits. Dont matter the skin tone. Celia needed Minnie just as much as Minnie needed Celia. They just matched as friends.
You never know someone's story... The pain Celia went through with her childhood & babies... No one should ever know the pain of losing a child...😢
Celia is honestly so sweet and does not deserve the way she is treated by the other women in the town she is so kind funny and sweet I feel sorry that she is hated by the women
I relate to Celia so much, being very feminine and coming across a bit ditzy. Not quite as much as her, but very close to it sometimes. People really do treat you differently. I’ve learned to hide it, because I was so bullied for it in a bad relationship. But seeing how loved she is a character is nice ❤
I hope all is well now beloved...🦋🤗✨️
I need more movies with these two.
Love Celia
She’s so sweet honestly
Brilliant performance by both actresses
They are both very lucky to have found each other.

@@noodlecat2368 ...THE HELP.
That's the name of the movie.
these two absolutely needed each other
When Mr Johnny DID come home! He said “Minny! Girl! I’m not trying to hurt you!” Most lovable characters from the whole film. Celia and Minny needed each other as one sis to another.
They saw eachothers true heart!!🥰
Minnie was not a babysitter. She was a maid and friend.
When people say they're not racist but act like Hilly, Celia is the woman they're pretending to be. But she's the real deal. They were friends in her eyes. Something Minnie wasn't used too. I have to admit when she cooked for Minnie and Minnie asked her if she checked the chicken to make sure there was no blood in and she said, "just like you taught me" that was a mother daughter reaction. I forgot she was white, in that moment she was Minnie's baby so grown up. Their chemistry was on another level as well.
Ms Celia needed Minnie. I am glad Celia didn't get ruined by the rest of the town. The woman was just a good person.
I just watched this movie and it was so good, I think it was based on a true story too. It’s called “The Help” if anyone wants to know.
Celia & Minnie were so good for each other
I loved Celia, because she was sweet and kind hearted. Minny took care of her, and vice versa.
Celia and Minnie are an iconic duo
Those two were great characters.
Their relationship was the best part of the movie
This relationship was the best part of the movie. I’m a 63 year old white woman in Tennessee and it’s true. ♥️
I became a huge fan of both of these actresses.
I really wish that they would put the movie and or show titles in the description.
Cel was a poor girl that caught the eye of the town prince. The women couldn’t believe the fact that he would choose poor Cel over Hilly unless Cel was putting out. Cel covered her pain of loneliness and isolation by drinking and her body took the toll by miscarrying so many babies. Cel and Minnie saved each other by being real and truthful with each other. It was a joy watching their relationship develop.
If anybody thinks they want to write screenplays this is a wonderful film to watch, the second time and take notes on, for character development. These actors are ALL masters of their trade and say a whole lot in a little. You need to watch it once, as a gift to yourself, with popcorn, an ice cold drink and your favorite candy. Then, the 2nd time, with pen and paper for each character. ❤
And that was the start of an amazing friendship
The movie is called “The Help” 😁
