Yes, no income tax or sales tax, but the property tax that almost completely pays for education is outrageously high and if you want to make your house better, the property tax goes up higher. I loved living in NH for 30 years and raising kids in NH, but please don't tell people that the population is diverse. He did mention that 95% of the people are white and then went on to say it was diverse because some people speak French...not diverse really.
Hey it's the library steps! I am not sure why you didn't get some footage of the building from the second floor of the dome. I feel kind of bad that you are seeing the city in it's current rough shape. I moved here 6 years ago and the area around the library is significantly worse for various reasons. I am not sure why most of the locals are not grasping how much has changed in a very short time. It's very frustrating. Still lots of interesting history and hope for the future.
