That's a nice size hedge cutter . I do like the look of that deutzs to... but more so the older edged ones 😜😄.. We are on the lookout for a flail hedge cutter for clearing grass edgings and some brush.. just got to thing of which tractor it would go on or ..... have an excuse to possibly add another one 🤣.. @@ianhaggart1438 yeah I’m rather impressed with what it can do. Granted I was half a meter short over a ditch but🤷♂️ yeah the old deutz are cool… I like the old hurlimann as well lol. Think this one only needs a tractor of 4.5t but think this one is about 5t . Haha always a good excuse for another rig😆. Thanks but I can tell I’m tired when I’m making these/editing them😫🤦♂️
@@casto- always fancied a Same for some reason.. Driven a Lambo a few times G reg in the past.. always had a gear to use just issues with the hydraulics eating thereself ..
@@elginsparrowhawk7203 I did start out with gloves but trying to record in then it easy plus I never get the safe grip 🤷♂️. Definitely a few leaks but the hedge cutter is new to me and I don’t think it’s been run in a few years so pipes are letting go. I prefer a shorter narrower hedge especially in hay field, higher hedges in grazing fields but each to their own 🙂
@@BoovyFarms don’t even get me started under there 😆🤦♂️I think I’m going to have to change one of the main rotor feed pipes as I think that’s where the second leak is coming from.
@@casto- nothing is easy on them either! Be sure to grease the rotor as much as you can. I try do it every couple of days as the bearings can be a pain to do!
Still use an older McConnell cutter ,sides then top and bottom last as all debris falls down ,did a good job on your hedge! Deutz were a good tractor,air cooled I think?
@@aala7337 I did look for a PA95 with electric controls before I found the Bomford but couldn’t find one at a sensible price. Sides, top and bottom sense to be winning at the minute… did seem to work better for me as well. Thanks, I need to cut a bit closer to the previous seasons cut still I think. Yeah the older models were air cooled but think everything after 2000 as water cooled (this one is water cooled)
She's a nice deutz cab looks a little small The only way to learn trimming is to do it I do side's top and then floor Looks like you've done a great job 👏 shame about pipes unfortunately if you have a trimmer your have pipes go 😬 Our swallows have all gone 😢
@@antonyfarming if the steering wheel came up higher as well as the dash it would be a nice tractor 🤷♂️ I tried every way but the black thorn was a pain lol, hawthorn was fine which ever way I tried. Thanks mate 🙂 and yes, Richard told me I’d have pipes fall as he keeps chasing round his replacing then🤦♂️. Yeah won’t be long till the swallows go AB’s the geese take over😔
@@nickhill3362 hi Nick, yeah the plan was to put it in the trac… I’m just slightly worried about destroying the paintwork or even the glass on her as the cab is 4ft or so further forward than a standard cab. I’d need to put the electrics in as well but that’s not a massive job

You need some gloves! You seem to be having a few oil leaks lately.
Ideal hedge is 2m wide 2m high.
