Viva wera! Viva Goyo! Viva México! Did you know the tradition of el grito is based on a speech that Miguel Hidalgo gave to rally the people to arms and declare México independence. It happened in the small town of Dolores Hidalgo, Guanajuato, Sept 16th 1810.
In fact, it happened in September 27th 1821. We celebrate our independece in the wrong date. The independece fight finished in September 27 of 1821. We should celebrate our independece this day, the end of the fight, not the begining of the fight. Viva México.

It's a small town about a 40 minute drive from Guadalajara, its famous for the opal mines, and "Las Fiestas del Señor Milagroso" la on tu lo the 29th of September. The best days to attend are the last 4 days. If you go, you will have a blast. You won't regret it.

Where are you actually going to give the yield “Viva México!” in the city? If you like a more family atmosphere I would suggest Chapalita neighborhood, at the roundabout in Chapalita. Remember the yield usually happens earlier than the official one from the president in CDMX.
