We're pouring a concrete patio in this video that we'll end up stamping to look like stone texture. (That's in Part 2)
This video shows you how we pour the concrete and most likely, it's different than the way you do it.
I don't see anyone on RUclips or social media that pours and finishes concrete like we do.
I've been doing this for over 40 years and I'm still learning, but there are some ways we do things that are much different than most others.
I feel like the way we screed is much easier and faster than the way most others do it. I also use a water reducer in my concrete mix so I can pour it loosely and not hurt its strength. Most others see it as wet concrete and don't understand what the additive is for.
I've got a crew of really experienced guys who have been doing concrete for a very long time.
