Ditto on the dentistry. However, I’m so glad I still have my own teeth. You’ll be fine I know that that for sure. I love the blue ball, that’s what got you through the ordeal. Love your stitching, it’s so well done. Love your outlook always and your humor.
When my daughter was little back in the age of the dinosaurs 🦕 😅 I told her that her uvula was her courage hangy ball and that God gave us a courage hangy ball just so we can be brave at the dentist. Of course, the dentist always had to ask if I was OK because I am terrified of the dentist and turn a gastly hue. You can have mashed taters. 2 of my granddaughters have autism. Love you, my friend. ❤
I agree, going to the dentist is challenging. I have a wonderful dentist and virtually pain free but I still get stressed out. A stress ball is a great idea! Thanks for sharing your beautiful stitching and plans. I’m heading over to FQS and check out the Bee kit… 🐝
Looking forward to seeing your anniversary stitch progress, Anna! Had tooth extraction and bone marrow transplant back in January. I think a lot of the food prohibitions will end shortly after you have the stitches out, if I remember correctly. Have fun at the movies!
This video was great timing for me. I am having a molar extracted and a bone graft this coming Wednesday. I am also a dentist chicken and have canceled the appointment once already. I don't dare do it again. I have to be brave. I was happy to hear that you did not have pain with it. I have been wondering about that and of course hit the internet which doesn't make the process sound fun. But I will plan on no pain like you. I'm happy you are doing so well after yours. And all your stitching is beautiful!!!
😂😂😂😂 we r so much alike. Not a fan of dentists...Have been thru what u r going thru. YOU WILL SURVIVE! The needles, stitches, food issues...YIKES. I am so amazed at all you accomplish and even arrange a ride to your stitch group, because you had "surgery" 😂 we all enjoy you and your adventures. Keep laughing and see the humor in each mishap. We all love you💖
You are such an enabler. Had to stop the video and go place an orderat Fat Quarter Shop. Although I couldn't find the kit for Bee My Honey, I still found enough to drop almost $100. Sure wish I could find the things you shared but must have been gone
Oh Anna! I think you may have started a craze with your little blue ball! You had me in stitches😂😂 Hope your 4 months flys by! I've been there done that, so I totally sympathize! Ice cream for dinner❤ Hugs, Candace
Anna you are such a hoot. I love how you start most of your videos with life updates, just like you're at lunch with friends. Sending you lots of positive, healing thoughts, energy and prayers for a speedy recovery from your jaw surgery.
As always enjoyed your visit Anna. Going to the dentist is not fun! Oh four months seems like forever. As difficult as it will be just remember to do everything they said for recovery. Take care. See you next time.
Hope your healing goes smoothly. I know it's difficult to do without some of your favored foods (Honestly...movies without popcorn???) and that happy hour relaxing time. Lots to stitch though, so keep those hands busy! XO
“Ambidextrous chewing” cracked me up. I’ve been there. Love the stress ball, you may need to hang on to that after the four months. Good of Cheryl to give you a ride to A&T. 32:29 You need to be extra kind to yourself for a while and she is helping.
I love your stress ball... I love the halloween project and I bet your organization looks great over there! Keep it up Anna! 4 months will be over before ya know it :). Congrats to your winner too!
I really don’t have a fear of the dentist, mine was always so wonderful and I have never had anything more than a crown. He has retired now and his son took over the business and so far so good. My Mom lived to 104 and had all of her teeth, no crowns, hope I inherited her teeth as opposed to my Dad who had all of his pulled when he was in the army, maybe at 27. Anyway, hope yours heals up nicely and everything goes great. I watched the Olympic shooting too and couldn’t see anything. I didn’t even see anything explode! I’m an Olympic junkie, love most all of the sports. Your anniversary stitch is going to be so cute, I’m sure you will be able to finish it by September if it is your designated stitch. Take care and stay cool.
My first ever retreat will be at Acorns and Threads in September. I live in Washington and have been to Portland so many times but never got a chance to go to Acorns and Threads. Two things off my bucket list. Looking forward to meeting you Anna. Long time Stitch Roadie and Quilt Roadie fan!
So much fun visiting with you. Thanks for the smiles and laughs. That blue ball is perfect! You have been busy! I love the Primrose Cottage minis and have done several. Like you I am trying to get one a month finished. I am planning a visit to the Attic in the next few days. Have my list ready. We all know I will end up with more than is on my list 😂. 🥰
Morning here! Yes that dentist fear! Hope your mouth is healing fast. Haven't been to cinemas for many years. Don't even know if there are any in this city. You are such fun to visit. Love your precious pieces. I also seem to get threads wrong. I call it artsy cross stitching 😂. Have a wonderful blessed creative week. Huge hugs from South Africa.
I usually don't comment but thought I would today. Oh my gosh you make my day when you put up a video! I appreciate you so much! Good luck with your recovery. Hopefully your surgery will heal fast. Just thought I would thank you for your videos. Big hugs from Quebec, Canada. xox
I literally snorted my coffee when you said you need to squeeze that ball every time you turn on the TV. Truer words were never spoken. Too bad about your restrictions. I also hate the dentist but I have no good reason. I'm curious if you ever road a bike again after that accident. Hope your restrictions are not a full 4 months! Poor thing LOL. Sending you hugs from NE Ohio.
Yikes, dentists 🦷 They do get raise fear in lots of people. Hopefully it’s not too painful and heals quickly. Beautiful stitch work and that bee kit from FQS, enabler extraordinaire. 😂
Anna, Anna, Anna. I feel your pain. The following is ONLY to prove the truth of the former statement. After TWO episodes of encephalitis, one in September and one in January. And the discovery of a mass in my cerebellum during this journey, which resulted in brain surgery on the 11 of July, I, too, am on the mend!! And with in the next 5.5 months I am promised to back to normal, life is really good. I am blessed beyond measure!! My projected 6 hour surgery took 3, I was in icu 2 days instead of3, leaving ICU at 11:30 pm of the second day. And it is been all uphill since, no setbacks. But it is going so damn slow!! And like you patience isn’t my long suit. Think God is telling me it’s time to cultivate some!! lol Again I am NOT playing one upsmanship here. Just showing you I understand. Hugs and giggles.
I am a chicken for the dentist too I have found a new dentist that is great and make me feel at ease. I have had 2 implant teeth this last year and a root canal and new crown.... so I am with you yes like a straw too
Funny I just had a crown break of splitting it in half. In 2 weeks I see a periodontist for I Implants. Wish me luck. I enjoy all your talking about everything.
A dental chicken!!? Who isn’t?? Bravery award for you! I used to squeeze the dentist’s knee when I was scared as a child! All the best for your recovery ❤🦷
I totally sympathize with the lack of straw and wrong side chewing. I broke the roots of two molars (stress kills). Now I have the beginnings of two fake teeth and restrictions on straws and chewing. Sending hugs.
I am with you Anna the dentist is the pits. Hopefully it will go fast. Think about the money you are saving on food!😂😂 Have a great time with your grandson!❤
I'm 71. When I was in my mid 20's my jaw was broken. I had to have surgery and my jaw was wired shut for weeks. I lived on liquids for 6 weeks. The Blender and straws. Then I developed a staff infection and had surgery again. Had tubes coming out of my neck. And one in my mouth. You I'm sure know why being a nurse. I had to stay in the hospital this time.
Oh man what a journey you took…after the accident I could only fit a straw so it was milk shake time with no chunky chewy things. Having an infection is a scary thing hence I have a rinse x 2 a day and antibiotics 3 x a day😝
Sympathies with the mouth issues Anna - my husband would say to me "Doesn't stop you talking!!" If I've visited the dentist. At my school - High School to you - in winter we played Hockey and Netball outdoors and in the summer we played tennis and rounders oh and I hated cross country running in winter but preferred some outdoor athletics in summer so I'm in awe of sportsmen who train and take part in competitions and watch some Olympics as you do. I'm not taking any stitching away this long weekend as I'm struggling to do any and my finger's not straightening but my Kindle and Tablet will keep me company and in touch with flosstube friends. Visiting seaside places of my youth and a family get together 😊
Oh I know that fear of dentist..and my dentist knew my fear and understood me. Then he was flying home from up north in his plane and was killed. So I’ve had to find another dentist…that understood my fears. Not easy … thanks for the visit ❤
My consolation for not eating popcorn these days (lost a filling last time I had some) is to have icecream or a bag of confectionery at the movies instead. But I guess you can't have those either 😪 Sucks to be you at the moment. Said with love and sympathy ❤️❤️❤️
I love your channel and the things you´re talking about. May I ask? The wonderful, beautiful wallhanging behind you with all the flowers, is there a pattern for it that I can buy somewhere?
I am a dental coward also due to lots of dental surgeries.....just recently, I had a tooth pulled. The dentist said to me, not surprising this tooth failed since it was your baby tooth...WHAT???? ..I am in my late 60's...ha, ha...caught me totally by surprise.... Now I believe you are vegetarian or vegan so some of these suggestions might not work, but beans, eggs in all forms, cottage cheese, tofu, pureed carrots with a little onion, soups of all types though avoid the tomato for a few due to the acid can sting,...of course there is always mashed potatoes and rice and noodles. When I really needed a flavor boost I would make cold pickle beet borsch with a little beef broth, but you could sub Soy sauce and sour cream (substitute yogurt....blend pickle beets until smooth....really nice on a hot day..... and lots of flavor and a pretty pink....Good luck...will be thinking of you.

Anna you’re too funny that’s why I love your videos and all your stories God bless you 0:09 0:11

Heal quickly.
