So let me get this straight: it is OK for the camera woman to cross the boundaries of an artist, but it is not OK for the artist to cross hers. OK.... double standards IMHO.
Yeah the EBU said they want a s*fe working environment for their employees. But apparently the artists don't have the right to s*fety but its employees. If they make an agreement to not film him after a performance and she breaks that agreement time and time again to h*rass the artists. Apparently thats ok. The artists have to do contractually mandatory things but the EBU isn't bound by the same contracts. Make it make sense.
They've released a statement. It was just a paparazzi woman harassing Joost for the 2nd time in 2 weeks in a moment where the Dutch delegation had made clear in advance agreements that he cannot be filmed after the concert and she kept filming him anyway. Joost then made a gesture of putting her phone down without touching her. That was all.
and it was abuse, i heard? it was just him asking for comfort 🤦♀️
ISRAELI MEDIA, NOT PAPARAZZI. CLIPS OF WHAT REALLY HAPPENED NOW AVAILABLE
The camerawoman first showed inappropriate behavior even though agreements had been made not to film the artist.
Nope she film the artist and that wasn't allowed. But Joost reacted aggressively, almost hitting the woman. Doing this to a woman is over and out. You cannot justify violence with agreements about a contract
@@Infinito_Tyou are a 🤡 the woman was filming him while he asked her several times not to do, eventually he makes a move to the camera but dit not touch her at all; sometimes enough is enough
@@Infinito_Tis not weird to be extra emotional after thinking about his parents, letting his heart talk. She was told numerous times to stop filming, but kept filming anyway. It is just trying to poke a bear and expect it to just stay away from you. Absolutely disrespectful and the camerawoman is to blame, she should know better.
@@jgowner6076 She knew what she was doing in being antagonistic, and hoping to get a negative reaction so she can squeal to the authorities. She is like those people who see a Rolls Royce driving by, and throw themselves in front of the car for a claim.
@@Infinito_T Excuse me? How do you know this? What knowledge do you have about Mr Klein's movements? And as you said yourself, he didn't hit anyone. If I say Boo to you, will you complain about me intimidating you too? Are you a snowflake? The fact is that he didn't touch her, whereas she breached an agreement that had been made and that she had to comply with. So legally, she is the one to blame. All these things have to be taken into consideration.
And what do you mean by "doing this to a woman it's over and out"? Do you treat women differently than men? I hope not sir!! Men and women are to be treated equally. If you don't agree, I might file a complaint against you for sexism. You, who has your mouth full about violence against someone, while the violence hasn't even been proven, whereas your act of sexism has been proved, by yourself! I can't remember that I have met a bigger idiot than you. Succes met bananenplukken. Hopelijk kan je dat wel.
When you hear what actually happened you will be even more angry he got disqualified.... that's probably why they were keeping it quiet.
It is a disgrace!! Joost didn’t do anything except asking and teling the woman to stop filming him repeatedly after that he made a move to the camera but did not touch her
So I take it that her camera, or someone else's will have proof of what happened?
By disqualifying Joost from participating in the final, the EBU declared him guilty even before the police investigation was completed. Talk about decent standards of behaviour....
Besides, if this anonymous camerawoman had simply respected other people's boundaries (something she herself, as a woman, probably shouts the loudest in life... hashtag metoo), none of this would have even happened. Talk about decent standards of behaviour.
There was barely anything to be investigated. Barely anything happened but they made it way bigger then what it should have been. SO I would say this was done on purpose to get him out.
it was perhaps a deliberate provocation to remove this song from the competition
The only way to put this right is to let him Re- enter the competition next year.
No, the momentum for him with Europapa was now, not next year. I hope the Netherlands decide not to participate at this corrupt clown circus anymore.
The EBU has a lot of explaining to do regarding the way they mis-handled this incident. They could have given him a fine, pending the investigation.
Why interview people who are clueless as to what actually happened? What value does that bring?
AP, come on. You are better than this.
They pick a spanish guy with a spanish name and with a tshirt with a 100 pesetas coin and put him a Netherlands flag. 🤣
What makes you think he is better than that?
I don't know what happened and if he's guilty or not but I feel bad for the Netherlands and Dutch people not being able to enjoy their representatives. We love you
Thank you Robin. That's very sweet of you.
The camerawoman filmed Joost despite the agreement not to do so. After numerous requests to stop, Joost became slightly irritated, and the tone escalated. This was the reason Swedish Karin accused Joost of aggression, even though it was insignificant. A scandal for Sweden.
Absolutely! Swedish snowflake
Pretty shameful to be a swede at this point. Unfortunately not easy to be a man in this country today..
Justice ⚖️ For Joost ✊🏽
Maybe it’s time for Eurovision to end
It needs to be less corrupt and the EBU needs new members
Reactions: It wasn't me...
Official statements from AVROTROS, the Dutch broadcaster, revealed that an incident occurred following Joost's performance. A camera woman who unauthorized to film in this area was present, despite being asked to leave by Joost multiple times. Subsequently, Joost allegedly made an 'intimidating' gesture towards her. This was then reported to the EBU and the swedish police.
The important take-away from this is that he did NOT touch her
Thank you!
Thank you but why didn't he just report her and have her removed that way.
And if he did not touch her, why did he get removed?
Who was the camera person? Who was this camera person representing.
@@emileballantyne1763 Because he is not as low like that. He might have mentioned it to his own delegation.
A few more details, he pointed his finger at her. I am pretty sure this was a setup to force israel to become the winner as the propaganda song of israel needs more attention, thinks the EBU.
@@-_YouMayFind_-
That would not be low but a necessary reality. What he did was foolish, if he threatened her. It was not his job to do security work for the show. Now he will not be able to do his show so it was foolish in the extreme.
He is now a sound bite in history.
Shame that young Joost will be remembered as woman assaulter after Israeli camera woman 😮 His career damaged by EBU’s political game! While assault to Ireland’s Bambie is ignored - EBU is playing politics clearly!
that last guy looks like michael schumacher ...
We all know the real reason.
The EBU were too worried that Joost might display a Palestinian flag 🇵🇸 or say “Free Palestine 🇵🇸
European hypocrisy:
Ukraine: "Slava Ukraine!" (Allowed and put on the highest decibel during the contest)
Palestine: "..." (Banned and disqualified for even mentioning).
Well if it’s true then he deserves to be tossed out. We are not in Palestine 😜
So it's all a Zionist conspiracy? ❤🤣🤣🤣
@@stand777obviously yes
No he wouldn't
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Of course insulting someone's dead parents is OK...unless u r jewish then it's like how dare u, right? The guy with the moustache was right about u....
What a clown show!!! As if we didn’t have more important issues to deal with, the Eurovision song somehow takes the limelight! But I don’t see the point of this video clip if there is nothing to add to the news! Find out what happened first, then make a video!
Def und police worldwide!!!!vote DEMORAT polic ies!!!💙🇸🇩💙🇸🇩💙
No. I shall not sponsor of 🙈🙉🙊 evil
A culture where this is allowed is disgusting. Shame shame shame
Where what is allowed? If you are critiquing Joost, He asked multiple times to the camera operator to not film him walking off stage. This was not respected after multiple times of asking. If anything that camera operator needs to be apprehended for not respecting an artists privicy. Such a poor job on the EBU side, punishing the wrong person for something very minor. All Joost did was making a motion of pushing downward the camera, no harm was done to the operator. If there is any shame, it should be on the EBU and the camera operator not respecting Joost.
Whitelux... sounds really friendly . U wear White hats ?
@@markie598 Where someone can make a comment about how they felt some way over actions they produced. Leading to an end for this competition for him is a shame. This moment in time will never come for him again. That is what I was referring to I apologize for not making myself clear.
@@joost9478 When has light ever done harm ? What do you mean by "White hats" ? 🤔 Please enlighten me
Yes, a BIG SHAME on the EBU for doing this to Joost and the Netherlands 🇳🇱 just to please thier Israeli sponsors
