  • Samos is a super cool small Greek island located in the East Aegean just off the coast of Turkey. Mount Kerkis is the highest point on the island and the second highest point in the East Aegean region. A group of us serving on the island under I58/Eurorelief hiked to the top on June 26, 2021 on one of our free days. The views and heights were majestically incredible in ways that you cant grasp with a phone camera! Thanks for watching!

Do you have a map how you got there by car? I have also hiked to the top of Kerkis, but we started from Votsalakia.

How long did it take to hike up?

I'm not exactly sure how long it took us. We did a 7-8ish mile loop. Its 3.5 miles to the top from where we parked. Some of it was pretty aggressive, I'd say it might have took 3 hrs to get to the peak.
