Universal studios Japan in Osaka held Halloween Horror night so One of my Japanese mates and I went there the last month. We could see even hello kitty in the Halloween version of clothes and some Zombies carrying chainsaws lol I haven't been to Ireland since the 14th of September,1994 :) cheers
Halloween sorta caught on in the last .... 10 years? Japan doesn't really have much happening festivities wise October to November so it was a good enough thing for corporations to adopt it for things to sell I think.
