Japan is such an incredibly amazing country to visit . We’ve been lucky enough to have visited it 5 times already and always enjoy it. And yes, the Shibuya area, including the Disney Store, is among my favorite places to visit while in Tokyo. I didn’t know about the Robot Cafe y’all went to. Now I need to go there with my family.
Y’all should try Ichiban Ramen , and Coco Ichibanya Curry next time you visit.

Japanese people enjoy the four seasons and many festivals are held in Japan.
Especially in summer and fall, there are wonderful festivals held in many places. If you visit Japan during this time, you can naturally see fireworks displays and historic dances without having to make any plans.

100% facts! I've gone to Japan over 30 times and there's no where else I'd rather go. My #1 reason is the ease of accessibility to almost anything and everything you want/need. They have the best mass transit system, best food, incomparable shopping, best customer service, exceptionally clean, etc... Literally the greatest travel destination in the world. Period.

Thank you so much for praising Japan !!
Since Japan was previously scheduled to host the Olympics in 2020, the travel, tourism industries and accommodation facilities had been preparing to provide warm hospitality for the many athletes, media personnel, and tourists from overseas, with a comfortable environment, delicious food souvenirs and memorable trip. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, this was not possible and we were very disappointed😭
From November 2022, restrictions on tourists from overseas will be eased, now no restrictions and we are finally able to provide hospitality to guests from abroad. The Japanese people are very happy to be able to provide hospitality to so many foreigners, as our efforts so far have been rewarded😊 Japan today is one of the countries that values peace and diversity. Travelers from any country are always welcome.
Japan is a country where you can enjoy each season in different ways, and each region having its own unique characteristics, local food and culture. If you have time, be sure to visit places other than tourist spots.

Just came from Japan. Our 60th day in one year . Everytime we go to Japan we only end up listing down more reasons to go back to Japan. Make sure to stay in Ryokans too and be in onsens with locals.. Spring is beautiful but autumn is my favorite ! You should do shinkansen rides and transfer prefectures when it's autumn. It's so beautiful ! The JR pass may have been very pricy now but if you know how to use it well, you can do so many things !

This video came up in a recommendation and we watched it.
It was a great video from start to finish and I am five days late but I would like to leave a comment.
I was able to watch it with automatic subtitles as I do not speak English.
I also used a translation tool for this text.
I learned in this video that you two got engaged and that you chose Japan as your travel destination at that time.
I am sincerely honoured that you chose Japan as your travel destination.
I don't know if you two are still in Japan, but if you are, I would be very happy if you could enjoy the things you can only feel and experience in Japan and make your trip unforgettable for you both!☺💕
For us Japanese, most of the foreigners we see on the streets are tourists.
In other words, every foreigner is an important guest for the Japanese.
Even though there are many more beautiful countries in the world than Japan, we are very grateful that you have chosen Japan among them.
This is reflected in the kindness and hospitality shown to foreigners (travellers).
We want to make their trip as pleasant and comfortable as possible,
I also feel that I would like to do something, even if it is small, to add some flowers to their journey.
If you encounter the kindness and gentleness of Japanese people wherever you go in your travels in Japan, it is because you are such kind people and you are willing to do whatever it takes to make the trip a pleasant and comfortable one.
Please take this as a thank you from the Japanese to you.😉👍
We sincerely hope that this trip to Japan will be the best trip for both of you.
May you both be showered with happiness that will be the envy of people all over the world...🙏😊

Hello!Thank you for visiting my country Japan. As you said, Katana is a Japanese sword. It means one sided blade. Unlike Western swords with blades on both sides, Japanese swords usually have the blade on only one side.

Japan is packed full of cool things because so many Japanese don't want to travel outside of Japan. So there is everything they want inside their country. I'm not a fan of the crazy busy areas saturated with tourists. I went to Kyushu my last trip and it pleasantly foreign-tourist free.

Now I want to visit ASAP! I enjoyed it when I visited Tokyo way back in 1991, but all the signs were only in Japanese and there were no cell phones or internet and it was SO difficult to find my way around! I remember being shocked that you could get a hot drink and even underwear from vending machines. Asakusa was my favorite neighborhood. I didn’t go to Harajuku, but that’s where I want to go next time, plus Disneyland and the Avatar café.

We will show some highlights of Disney soon 😍 I can imagine how fascinating and confusing it must have been back then. Now the signage is pretty amazing - just slightly chaotic with tourists haha. Google maps saved us 😅 the robot cafe is a must! Loved it so far 😍😍❤

I've been in Tokyo since 1992. I remember those days! I would be carrying a paper map, get to a local station, still have absolutely no idea how to get to where I wanted to go, but would jump in a taxi and make the driver figure it out knowing I would be unlikely to pay more than 600 yen. Ha!

    • @latebloomerabroad

@@ronbeaubien LOL, good idea! I didn't even feel confident that I could tell the taxi driver where I wanted to go.😂

Congratulations on your engagement! Tokyo is one of my favourite cities in the world…also the “owl” you saw is actually a daruma - when you get the daruma you make a wish or goal, and colour one of the eyes. Once the goal is achieved or the wish is fulfilled, you colour the second. And then you keep it to help ward of any bad fortune. Enjoy the rest of your japan trip!

Loved it. First of all, Congratulations on the engagement. There is an old saying, marriage is a 3-ring circus, first comes the engagement ring then the wedding ring and finally, the suffering. lol Best of luck to you both, sending love and good fortune. For Culture of people known for their intelligence and technology, they really are also known for their love of toys and baby talk (with regards to the females) . Amazing.

One little tip about sushi : it’s better for you to eat as soon as the chef put sushi in front of you.
Shari(the rice) is molded lightly so it is gradually pressed down by the gravity and the taste is slightly going worse as the time passes. So as you eat earlier, it tastes better.
Actually even many of Japanese don’t know about this and take time by taking pictures or talking…you can now have a chance to be more respectful for Japanese culture even than Japanese people👍
Trivia : Emoji is Japanese. 絵(E) means paintings or drawings and 文字(moji) means the letter, like the letter A, not the one you write and send to someone.
