- The Payday 2 gang decide to rob their local art gallery but the heist very quickly goes wrong. Find out what happens in my new Minecraft Style animation for Payday 2. ►FAQ ◄
Why Minecraft?
1. Minecraft is made of blocks and flat surfaces, this means that the polygon count is really low, which means that I can render a frame much quicker in comparison to a complex realistic model.
2.I'm an animator, not a 3D Modeller or Rigger so I use Minecraft because I can easily convert a Minecraft Map into an OBJ that can be read in my animation software; meaning I do not need to model anything!
3. If you don't like/ know nothing about Minecraft you can still appreciate the video, there are no Minecraft references, in fact many things in this video are impossible in minecraft, this is more just an Art Style.

What software have you used?
A full list of all the soft wares used can be found at 4:35 in the credits. But the main animation software is AutoDesk Maya.
Why do they have mixed up voice lines?
Some of the characters have the wrong voice lines, the reasoning behind this is because there are 10,000s of voice lines in the game and none of them are described, meaning I had to listen to each one individual, this was a very time consuming process and in the end I mixed and matched voice lines.

A surprising number of people, this specific video has been reuploaded almost 20 times. In my channels life time I've made around 50 DMCA takedowns.
This is my playstyle I try to stealth at much a possible until alarms go off and my favorite part stars
Same. Although, I don't make stealthing easy on myself. I run what I call the immovable mountain tank build.

I know, but I thought it would be kinda boring watching a drill take 3min and break down every 30sec. But if you really wanted this animation to be over 10 min longer to be "accurate" I'm sure I can.

this is actually really well animated for minecraft. I appreciate the little things you added, and i honestly wish some of them were a part of the game itself, like guards doing takedowns instead of just shooting or handcuffing you. it's honestly far better, as well as guards noticing tiny things missing too. it would make stealth harder, but not in a BS way like making cameras indestructible or raising health values for guards. your ideas will NOT be wasted on this planet and i will try to make some sort of modification to allow things like this to happen, kinda like how the Ghost145+ mod makes stealth harder without BS elements. Good job to you, whatever program it is that you used and to your brilliantly fitting channel name. (holy shit i'm writing an essay here)

Bulldozers have the Reinfield 600 (800?) shotgun.
Killdozers have the Ihzma (I think that’s how it’s spelt ingame)
Skulldozers have the KSP.
mister reality, you actually weren't too far off. It's actually the "Izhma" in which is short for "Izhmash", russian manufacturers for guns such as the AK, RPK and more. Basically, good job, you got something that most people wouldn't get correct on their first try closer than anybody i've seen that hasn't gotten it on their very first. You are a smart individual, and i hope you use that knowledge for great things in the long run.

That's because they surrendered, if payday 2 was realistic however it would be very hard to escape the police, bulldozers would be the least of your worries because they would only come when you plant a bomb, cloakers can come in, tasers wont exist because they are every single cop. Cops are extremely well trained and not brainless people walking around. Even if the payday gang got out, they can be traced and eventually caught
You can save 15 % or more on car insurance Bro wolf threw a grenade so that technically counts as a bomb.

Alot of things here are wrong... Like the fact that Framing Frame (the heist they are on.) Is not day time, its always nighttime. The Cam in the first bit should have been a TITAN cam, but it wasn't and i assume it should be a TITAN, because you can see a Skulldozer which is only on Death Wish and Death Sentence. The cam would've spotted them before they could shoot, because the Death Wish thing.. And the Cloakers would've always spawned in with the goggles off in daytime. The Cam Guard should've looked more like a cop or guard than a civve. The heisters look bad and plain, and how did they get the armor and more guns later on? also the ending in the ending bit, they should've been shot or wolf would've gotten them killed or hurt. There should've been a part where Wolf has to take out the Feds and the team could've helped too. Alot of things are choppy and weird but, you did good. Im just tellling you the flaws and i dont dislike or hate this video in anyway. Im sorry if this made you feel like i did.

No, not that I know of, this video was made entirely in an Animation Software Maya, not actually in Minecraft. The map, however is an edited version of a real Minecraft Adventure map. Which can be found here:

Gosh dam it, people noticed! Yes a few characters used different characters voice lines mainly because the game has 10,000's of voice lines and none of them were titled. Meaning I had to manually listen to each file to find a clip I would want to use. Eventually I just got fed up and started mashing random sound files together...

I like These Animations With Action And If Its A Minecraft Animation With A Different Game And The Animations Has Game Audio Is Very Cool And Actually I Can't Explain How Amazing Was The Animation 1000/10
Let me state some things wrong with this, not that I hate this, it's good, but it could have been better.
- This is Framing Frame Day 1/Art Gallery, so why isn't this at nighttime?
- Why is there no Medics, 1 Dozer, and 1 Cloaker? There should be a bunch of them.
- You can't shoot the bathroom door open.
- Speaking of bathrooms, theres NO cameras in there.
- Gaurds don't get alerted by the red "SOLD" stickers, they don't even drop.
- Why is there no "?" or "!" above the gaurds head?
- The gaurd would've cuffed Dallas THEN sound the alarm while answering that pager.
- When the gaurd holding the red "SOLD" sticker picked it up, he should've said, "2-3 Here, reporting in. Something's up," then the alarm would have gone off.
- Dallas, Houston/New Hoxton, Chains, and Wolf don't have supressors on their gun, so how are they stealthing this?
- When Wolf gunned down the camera guy, Bain should've said, "So much for the cameras."
If you want to make an upgraded version of this, just play Art Gallery and take some of these peices of advice.
1. Its not at night time because night time lighting is difficult to do and render
2. This was made before Medics were a thing, secondly because I didn't have a load of time.
3. IK, but watching someone pick a door for 30 seconds would be boring AF.
4. Well I put them in for cinematic effect to tell the non-IAmVerySmart viewers they were stealthing and being watched.
5. Again cinematic effect, the guards detected something was up so the story advances. Plus more realistic TBH.
6. Meh, I actually tried adding those in, then realised they looked silly and wasn't worth the time.
7. Once again boring, the stabbing scene was much more intresting
8. Maybe it just feel off the wall, no need to jump to conclusions and as you say in Q5, it doesn't happen in the game anyhow, so I decide what happens.
9. Magic.
10. If you want to find and extract that voice file out of the thousands of unlabeled files in the game be my guest.
In all seriousness thanks for the criticism, however, I made the animation with the average viewer in mind. As such it doesn't need to be 100% accurate to the game and was made with the intent of being enjoyable as an animation.

Understandable, you can do what you want, as an animation can be based on a certain game and not be COMPLETELY accurate, one thing I forgot to point out - the escape van doesn't drive away on Art Gallery/Framing Frame day 1. Also, just have Dallas run up to the dozer and spew ammo at his visor/helmet.
All in all, pretty good animation.

and also, all of them had deagles with no suppressors. After they shot the door open, (which shouldn't happen anyways) all the guards would already be alerted. I don't see guards reacting at all. Still, really good.
Edit: The scull dozer should have an LMG and not a colt
