Not sure if you guys cares but if you guys are stoned like me during the covid times then you can stream all the new series on instaflixxer. I've been binge watching with my girlfriend during the lockdown xD
The video is from Leni Riefenstahl. She did videos for the National Socialists Propaganda, this is one of those videos. The original title is "Fest der Völker", which translates into "festival of nations" or "festival of people". Its from 1936
@@MrTim-rb6ht This topic has been discussed in the comments and I don't think anyone, myself included, mentioned the propaganda being wonderful... The art is another story that was also debated.
I'm a huge Depeche Mode fan so I'm very psyched that they did this cover - it just too bad that they got all the trouble with the video, since it's such a good song. :/
The nudity is not illegal in Germany in TV and such (depends on time of day) And this is why non sexual nudity can be uploaded here. (It's obviously age restricted but we all know how easy it is to get past that ;) ) And youtube it self is kinda wishy washy about it.
@@xsezz you could be right, i only know how it works here. The icon it self is a GIF. You can use them as long as you keep them small 400x400p and there only animated on some screens, like the notification on desktop. RUclips is also wishy-washy there 😂
The controversal thing is that they used pictures of Leni Riefenstahl who was the no. 1 filmer for propaganda in the Nazi Time. Rammstein got really trouble with this video.
Nazi movie maker Leni Riefenstahl made that movie because of the Olympic Games in Germany 1936. She made movies THAT good that even after the war her archievements were international recognized. When that Depeche Mode cover of Rammstein came out with THAT video the media were in full hysteria and scandal mode in Germany....again. The people in the video were naked because in ancient Greece the athletes were naked, too. My recommendation: The band "Lindemann" and their song "Praise Abort". Lindemann is a side project of the singer of Rammstein Till Lindemann. Greetings
I can sugggest you to watch this live version (1999): ruclips.net/video/-mkXKtC9z-8/видео.html It's of a bad quality but very funny to see, as it was rammstein`s first (or one of the very first) touring in the US where they were singing as the opening band for already famous rock bands, and Flake wrote that it was always the most requested song there (as it was the only one in English:)
I think this is film material from 1936 as a bearded man in Berlin wanted to show, that the white race is leading. And then an american, black, won the run. Named Jesse Owen. Thx for your reaction.
They only made 3* covers, this one, das Modell from Kraftwerk (the other single from this era whose clip has never been released) and Pet Sematary from the Ramones. *They also played Lied von der unruhevollen Jugend during some concerts in Russia in 2001 (it's an old communist song in russian, Feeling B made a cover of it and Rammstein made a live cover of the cover)
Leni riefenstahl is still one of the masters of video in history - uncompareable
She didn't do much. Horrible person in general but also took credit for things other people did. Look it up
Till himself was almost an olympic swimmer
Yeah, I heard. He has the build for it!
was he from East Germany?😏
@@mirceapintelie361 he is, all of them are

Leaving everything else out, I must say that the video is beautiful, Till's way of interpreting each word, I don't know, fascinates me.
Well said!
I like this song and the video. The video is art 👌🏻
It is very artistic!
Its nazi-germany, olympia 1939. Video is great but a beast of propaganda. So not so wonderful that you think bro.

Love this song, and this video. Looking forward to seeing you react to the mess that went on behind the scenes 🙈

this band is unique in songs, videos and live concerts. They are unique!!!

Till was traing hard for olympic swimming when he was a teen. He had to quit if im not mistaken because of a head injury.
I heard about an injury but I don't think it was to the head...
I have read, he was kicked out of the team because he got to close to the sportsmen from West Germany
Amerika-Rammstein official video please

This video used Leni Riefenstahl's 1936 Berlin Olympic games aperture. Barely, Adolf Hitler appeared on this video.
stripped is not my favorit song of rammstein. maybe beacause it´s not a rammstein-song. but till´s voice is amazing as always!
