I wear high waisted leggings alot and have been wanting to crop some of my to loose fitting shirts. I'll definitely try some of these on my plain shirts first before I do them to my band and wrestling shirts too.

i always cut the sleeves off of my band shirts cause it makes me feel more masculine as a female metalhead

If you want to wear it, wear it. You're talking about one of the most chill / inclusive groups. NO ONE is gonna give a fuck.
Or distress a shorter shirt to be longer and wear something solid underneath it.
What kind of material does the shirt have to be like can it be cotton or does it have to be a shirt that has nylon or spandex in it?
All of these were cotton based ones. I think nylon or spandex could be cut the same way but I’m not sure as I haven’t tried. 🤘🏻

this is probably such a silly question, but have you ran into any problems with the shirts losing their shape in the wash? i was considering doing one of these to my favorite ghost shirt, considering it has a Very boxy fit..but i wasn't sure if it would get all weird in the washing machine.
That’s not a silly question. I haven’t had any trouble with loosing the shape after washing, I just either hang them on the washing line outside or on a hanger to air dry. If you do decide to, tag me on IG so I can see how it turned out.
