This did take me around 2 hours as someone who had never cut up a shirt in such an extreme way before but oh my god it turned out so much better than i expected one thing i will add is that i distressed a lot of the holes i made by plucking at the fabric with tweezers which added a nice rustic feeling to my shirt!! in case anyone wants to do that too 😊
This ended up so cool. will definately do this on a couple of bandshirts, that are far too hot in the summer. always used to like distressed stuff and you definately gave me the confidence to try this again with more cuts and stuff. thanks so much for making this more accessible and explaining every step and technique. Great that you give credit to peepshowclothing as well - she's a master.
Peepshow is truly the master! It’s no wonder she dresses some of my favorite rockstars. I’m glad your projects turned out awesome and I inspired you to create!
Awesome, I bought a few shirts a few sizes too big thinking they would shrink but it turns out the cotton was pre shrunk 😭 and now I just have large, ill-fitting shirts. Can’t wait to practice this on a few old ones and hopefully I can make these shirts wearable.
first I really love your make up and haircolor! this looks so badass, I already watched a few diys but this is definitely more the look I wanna go for probably also putting some paint on (or bleach, rn I have a white shirt)
I do! It's the tutorial with the Lamb of God halter top but there's a slight variation as I dont do the same style of distressing on the bottom (but you can use the techniques from this tutorial to do the same distressing on the bottom)
Wow, it's so cool 😎🆒 it gives me dark emo vibes, I love wearing Black 🖤, this is the best way of my type of shirt style I've so far. Loved it, You rocked it guitar 🎸
Thank you so much! It’s so scary shredding up a tee the first couple times. I just always tell myself I can make it into a back patch of a vest, hoodie, or jacket if I mess it up.
What material is the tshirt and does it matter in the end? Could one do this with a 100% polyester shirt too e.g.? Thank you so much for the tutorial, I really enjoyed it!
Some materials won’t stretch out like most cotton tees do, it’s definitely hit and miss depending on the type of fabric. I’ve had stretchy poly leggings work just fine but other poly shirts were a botched project
Looks so dope but I wonder how long this kind of shirt will last since I see nothing to keep it not fraying too much over time (even tho some would just make it look better).
I’ve run mine through the wash plenty of times and they’re still holding up. T-shirt fabric doesn’t fray quite like denim or regular cotton fabrics do. Sometimes the stringy bits get a bit stretched out so there’s more draping to it but it definitely adds to the look.
Gonna do this with a plain XXXL red shirt and adding some stretched holes through the top and maybe bottom cuz I saw the design on picrew and I thought it was cute asf
I loved it. But I just wonder how would u wash that tshirt? If a bra can get tangled with other clothes.... do I need to wash that tshirt on it's own? Hand-wash?
@@CosmicKristen its not easy I guess... I am like that with photos, I never know where to look really, so the most important thing is that you go on doing it the way you want to do it. I wasn't used to it, but that's my problem in the end. 💜
Here in 2024!! So dope! I just started exploring with this type of designing and I love your creativity!!!
Same!! ☺️
@@cheymac7633 thank you! It’s a really fun way to modify a shirt without a sewing machine.
This looks badass! Also I cracked up when your guitar player entered 😂👏🏻
That's my fiance...we have so much fun together. And I love that he makes all the music for my videos so I don't get copyright claimed!
The back looks SICKKKK!
That's so awesome! At the top it looks like a butterfly🦋
guest appearance was awesome
He’s hilarious!

Oh wow, this looks so cool and not even too complicated to make for less crafty people.
Queen of Dragons
I’m going to try and add some more simple projects on here so beginners don’t get too overwhelmed.
I'd definitely love to see more no-sew projects 😃
I got some no sew or almost no sew projects coming up. Gonna start filming after I finish this custom piece this week!
@@CosmicKristen awesome!
this is great and exactly what I wanted to know how to do. thank you.
that tool shirt though, thats what im about hell yea!
I have a tutorial for one similar to that (the Lamb of God halter top video). I just slashed the sides like I did on the tee in this video
Fun video! The shredder comment got me!
Corey and I always have so much fun together! 😂
I like it gurlllll you Rock
Really cool. I think I could do this technique on a smaller scale lol! You have such a creative sense of where the slashes should go! Amazing!
It’s definitely a trial and error thing with the slashes! I’d recommend getting a tee from a thrift shop to practice
Same thinking of doing this to my dr know shirt but not to this extent..
THIS is THE diy t shirt tutorial I was looking for tysm!!!!😭🤍totally gonna try this out on my hella oversized death metal shirts ❤️🔥
Yesss love to hear it!

Thank you for this. I got an AC/DC(dont judge me. I grew up on them) shirt secondhand and I h a t e how it fits. Needed this. Thank you.
I have AC/DC tees in my closet too. They’re a staple rock band I grew up on. I don’t gatekeep just cause I love extreme metal.
Girl you are amazing to watch!!! What artistry...
Thank you so much!
THAT IS FIRE AND I LOVE IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@ydiva1 thank you so much!!!
WOW. Thats badass! You really have an eye for that. LOVE IT
Thank you, it takes some practice to get the right cuts even though it looks like pure chaos
I’ve been looking for something like this for so long. I love it
Awesome! Hope this video helps
You did a masterful job! Love it!❤️

I’m so excited ... I hope mines turn out like this
I hope your project comes out amazing!
love this! omgg and your hair :)
Amei! Surreal!
Lol 🤣 where nipple won't hang out 😂 love this ❤️I'm so going try this with my favorite old shirt thank you
This is really cool 😎😎😎
I might buy a smaller size to keep the fit as I don't want the shirt to be so loose.
Yes it definitely loosens the fit when you slash it up
Do you a tutorial explaining how you made that Tool halter in the background? I love it!
I do! It's the tutorial with the Lamb of God halter top but there's a slight variation as I dont do the same style of distressing on the bottom (but you can use the techniques from this tutorial to do the same distressing on the bottom)

Already impressed by the shirt on the mannequin 💜🥰😍girl you slayed the hell out of this shirt. 😍

Awesome!!
sorry your amazing ! thanks for the tutorial.
😍😍😍 Thanks for the tutorial!
Like just for the guitar solo!
Awesome tutorial, using it on an old mayhem shirt
Hell yes! The old tees usually are super soft and drape well when they’re all slashed up.
What material is the tshirt and does it matter in the end? Could one do this with a 100% polyester shirt too e.g.? Thank you so much for the tutorial, I really enjoyed it!

Will this work w a concert shirt that's way too big
Brilliant
Thank you! I always have so much fun on projects like this
Love it ty!!
Omfggg, that Tool shirt in the back is so fcking dope. 🖤
im kinda concerned about washing it...with all the cuts and draping wont it rip in ways you dont want when its laundered?
@@mercygirl317 I wash my shirts like this in a mesh laundry bag and hang them to dry and they haven’t had any extra damage
@@CosmicKristen ohhh, great idea.
YES YOU DID PERFECT LOOKS VERY NICE ! HAAA. AND REMOVE THE 🥵 KEEPING GO THANKS 👍
What kind of scissors ✂️ from you use does it matter??
I think they’re friskars sewing scissors but any fabric scissors from like Joann’s or Walmart will work just fine
🔥🔥🔥
Looks fantastic! I’m torn tho, cuz I want to thumbs up the video, but it’s at 420 right now…
You are so adorable. It’s a little irritating that you don’t look into the camera but that’s okay, the shirt looks cool af 😊
My partner lectures me on not looking into the camera all the time so I’ve been working on it with newer videos and when I stream on twitch
