Beautiful amp, and fantastic playing. I’d be interested to hear a steel string guitar through it, since I believe that’s what most players will use it for.
Very nice playing. And video. I just got this amp in last month, I’m tracking it today with a great player. Using the amp in one room, mic it with a Royer R10 and in the other room I’m using my AEA R84 on my Martin HD 28E with the AEA R84. Looking forward to hearing the magic and blending the two.
I agree, I had the same conclusion when I tried the circa 74 vs the fishman loudbox performer, another thing I noticed, is that all acoustic amps sound good fingerpicking, and its the same on this circa 74 but sounds too harsh when strumming, as you can hear in the video when he strums it, it sounds brittle, the best acoustic amp tho is the aer compact 60, tho there is another contender the udo roesner da capo 75 which I have not tested in person yet. I agree for that price point might as well get the aer or maybe the da capo 75.
@@Dr.Jekyll I have only tried the aer compact 60 and not other aer amps, and compared it to other brands with similar specs or pricepoint, and have come to the conclusion that aer compact 60 is the acoustic amp that produces the closest “natural” acoustic sound from 2 of my guitars, one with es2 and the other with LR baggs anthem. the second and closest would be the da capo 75, but for my taste and playing style, the aer is ever so slightly better in terms of amplified acoustic sound.

The price point is WAY too high,,, I would put the Fishman Loudbox Mini up against it any day..
