@@DEFYN I saw a lvl 60ish guy that had NEGATIVE K/D on every single jet fighter in his stat card, except Gripen. With that thing he had something like 350 kills and about 100 deaths. And people still saying that Gripen isn’t braindead lol.

@@wg4112 That comes from the upgrade Israel did to their F-16As in the mid-80s.
Alongside the additional Countermeasures Dispensers (two mounted on the spine, two mounted ventrally between the fins), they also added the stabilators from the Block 15 F-16s. It was kinda like a pseudo-Block 15 OCU mod. Think of it as a stopgap solution until they could get F-16Cs.

You should try locking your FPS to a set amount, that usually works. It also uses less power which may results in smoother gameplay.

I am new to RB and found out the "Going Right" thing the hard way... flying an A-4 at NOE along the right edge, I popped up over a hill and ran smack into (what seemed at the time) the entire enemy team. My high expectations for the maneuverability of the Skyhawk were almost immediately dashed as two of the seven aircraft got behind me and treated me like a new sailor on his first deployment...
That freeze at around 6 minutes is a gaijin thing. It happens to me and a friend all the time and we’ve tried everything to fix it but every now and then it’ll do that but only in an air rb match

Dunno what editing software you use but I know for vegas if you go into the video clips’ properties you will find an option for ‘resampling’ or something along those lines; It essentially tries to match the video’s FPS to that of the project. When its on it will create unnecessary blurring as it averages between the frames if its trying to get to a higher framerate (i.e. 30fps video, 60fps project).
Hope this helps or gives you an idea of what option(s) to change.

If you’re in a pickle and can’t get down out of the cons fast enough, you can just turn your engine off and the cons go away. It’s saved me quite a few times, and depending on the plane, the engine can be turned back on in just a few seconds, so if you’re diving you don’t lose too much anyway. Not suggested to do in a dogfight

For air Ab or air Rb use Mouse aim and keyboard controls, without it you are at big disadvantage, joystick only for sim

As someone who plays a lot of gripen I can say that it's overperforming by a lot. There's no way a gripen should have such good energy retention.
Maybe if Gaijin made it lose more speed and have the AOA it has irl it could be fun to play. You'd actually have to think about keeping your energy and you couldn't just do what I do half my games which is press s, get 7 enemies killed.

after the Flight model change bcs lot of noobs were stalling themselvs in J35-XS, they limited max low speed aoa wich sucks for Skilled player but holds the noob from dying from his own mistake ...

You could try disabling Easy Anti Cheat. It causes crashes for me for the longest time in both WT and Elden Ring. It's probably not the cause of the freezes though. One thing I noticed on my end is when I release the voice chat push to talk key, the game freezes for a moment.
lately with the standard caliber flares even r60m's are unflareable on 100 throttle no burner from a rear aspect below 1.5km 💀

Not too bad actually, it’s still got the most cracked FM and the 9L is still competitive. The 60 flares in an uptier is a little hard but it’s still good

Ive had frame rate issues as well in the game, but my issue is streaming through Discord while playing. I dont know if you do that while recording, but if you do, I suggest turning off the stream. Idk if you also have Discord overlay enabled, but disable that. It always fucks with performance. Ive also had issues where Steam will eat my RAM since its a glorified browser now, so if you let it run in the background, itll usually stop stutters rather than having it open. Could also disable the Steam overlay since its also a glorified browser being injected into your game, but it seems like you already have it disabled if you're running the game through steam.
If you got any browsers open in the background, I suggest closing those. Dunno what your tab situation is like, but Opera eats up 1.1GB with 10 loaded tabs open and Firefox eats up 1.5GB of RAM with 5 tabs open (extensions moment) for me. If it still persists and you still have discord open, fully close out of it. If its still lagging after that point, I would need some PC information (basically just specs and OS) and what ur game is running on storage-wise to figure out if its still on your end or not. Then again, Im not sure about everything you've done to try and combat the FPS stutters, but if you've already tried all of this and it didn't fix anything, then its most definitely the game (even though Gaijin released an update trying to fix the issue 💀)

Also, i just unlocked the kurnass, my first afterburning jet, and its very umconfortable to be holding the mouse wheel to afterburn. Do you have any suggestions for new keybinds?

the issue with netz is that what it can do, can be done much better by any other plane in its matchmaking

The FPS issue is a widespread issue. PhlyDaily has been dealing with it for like two years.
If you have a very high number of friends on your friends list it can cause some major performance issues. Like 500+.

I wish it was 12.0, yeah it has Python 3s but they are as easy to flare as every other non IRCCM missile, it has no radar missiles and at 12.3 it faces 12.7s in every game

netz line has more longevity for vehicles to come in the future
as for vehicles as they are rn? netz if you want raw flight performance and a 40g non IRCCM missile but low counter measure load and no sarh, barak if you want 30g IRCCM missiles and/or sparrows + a way bigger cm load(even tho the netz should have like 180 cm)
in the current meta id say the barak II is better

This may be a long shot but I know Phly had issues with frames and it was caused by his friends list being too big. Not sure how many friends you have but if its a large amount it may be worth removing some.
Actually, I 1v1 my friend with the netz while he was in the gripen and I won every time (Except for that one time my aim was shitty) The Netz has a better flight model than the gripen if you play it good

If this game wasn't just a 16v16 clusterfuck dogfight at top tier airRB, the best dogfighters like the netz/AJ/jas would *always* win (assuming the pilots are skilled of course). Missiles are completely useless against a competent pilot that is pre-flaring, and now that chaff has been massively buffed, you can also easily notch radar missiles regardless of how much altitude you have.
Only reason why the su-27 and similar get decent K:D is because of extremely dumb pilots and a game mode that just smushes 32 planes into each-other.
If Gaijin ever makes a proper airRB EC mode that requires teamwork and forces planes into 1v1/2v2 or similar situations, they are going to have to give missiles the ability to *sometimes* ignore flares/hit a plane that is flaring/flying "properly". Right now it is too black and white - if you have the proper notch, the missile *WILL ALWAYS* miss you - same with flares. But if you keep up with this gameplay, then in the future if we ever get a mode that allows for small engagements, the only fighters that will be flyable are going to be the absolute best meta dogfighters.

i think you should check on your PC instead. Because it can be caused by some hardware temparature being too high. so maybe u need to kinda open up everything and might as well clean em up too and get a new thermal paste for the GPU and also the CPU. thats my guess about ur issue so goodluck. probably it is an actual internal(game) issues but.. who knows..
Its all relatively new and the highest temp ive hit in the last 3 weeks is 73C

@@DEFYNis your memory(Harddisk/SSD) kinda full? because sometimes if the HDD/SSD(especially on data C) is kinda full, it makes everything a bit laggy and stuttering a lot. try the cleaning data C method with Windows + R then type temp and delete it all and do it again but the second one type %temp%, it will delete all of the temporary data that you dont need so your data C can have some breathing room but... for the best, maybe you should ask or go to some PC Specialist to sort what's the problem because i know its hella annoying

He was talking how it is important to cut afterburner when flaring pythons, but he didn't cut it himself when he was flaring grippen missiles. Cutting afterburner is not important when flaring really good IR missiles?
Grippen is firing the equivalent of an AIM-9M
These shut of their seekerhead when they detect a flare and thus your afterburner being on or not doesn't matter as it can't see it anyway
While the seekerhead is off it attempts to fly to where you should be based on your speed/trajectory prior to shutting the seeker off.
So what Defyn is doing is flaring it to shut the seekerhead off, and then changing his flight path so the missile misses by "predicting" where he'll be incorrectly
Aim9ms dont care about afterburners due to the way theyre designed and keeping speed is important in this scenario
