I’ve lived in NY my whole life but I’m still so impressed by these places specifically:
- DUMBO (brooklyn) // Brooklyn Bridge Park (great for picnics)
- Gantry Plaza State Park (Pepsi-Cola sign) (this place is also so nice for a picnic but they also have so many restaurants nearby)
- Chelsea Market
- Artechouse (so cool to take pics/vids in)
- Highline
- The Vessel
- Bryant Park
For food recs:
- Morgenstern’s Finest Ice Cream (i like this place bc they have a variety of unique flavors)
- Prince St Pizza (a classic)
- Raku NYC (udon is *chefs kiss*)
- Yakitori Totto
- Magnolia Bakery (banana pudding is so bomb)
- Ruby’s Cafe (cute brunch spot)
- Levain Bakery
- Wafels and Dinges (also in Bryant Park)
- Grace Street (in k-town! their lattes and waffles are so good)
- Lady M Cake Boutique (crepe cakes are amazing)

def check out the little island and around there is the high line, Chelsea market, and the art installation called Artechouse :) Another favorite of mine is walking around Williamsburg in Brooklyn. They have cool tattoo shops and small boutiques

NY recommendations - try to stay away from any boutique hotels! They’re the worst when it comes to customer service. I think the hotels near the central park area is more safe if you’re not going with David. And definitely don’t skip out on walking the brooklyn bridge. Moma & the met for museums. Hope you have fun in NY💕

I’m from New York, and for places you can go I would say the Museum of ice cream, madam tussauds, the friends experience, top of the rock, the 9/11 memorial, the metropolitan museum of art, the museum of natural history, Belvedere castle in Central Park, grand central terminal, surreal creamery, etc. Hope this helps!
