Common grackles, starlings, and other problem birds can wreak havoc around your feeders this time of year.
The good news is, there are ways to reduce their impact.
Grackles have chased off all my song birds and they empty my one feeder in minutes! They are beautiful birds but they are bullies and I can’t afford to feed the tribe every day. Thanks for your tips!
I have over 21 feeders but stopped filling the lanterns because the Starlings empty them in a matter of a few minuits.
They are lazy and try to avoid ordinary feeders. Ofcourse, it doesn't stop them attacking the other birds.
Tried everything but still have over 50 of these flying rats ! I wouldn't mind a few but it is really annoying.
I'll try your tip about pulling in the platform feeder at night, and returning it after work, and see how the food supply lasts. Thanks for posting Gilligan.

I have a family of 8 Blue Jay's and this one magpie follows them. Everytime I put peanuts out for Blue Jay's here come the magpies bullying them out and wiping out the peanuts. 🤔How do I keep them separate😳🤔 or is there a special bird feeder that I can use that only allows the Blue Jay's in🤔
Not much you can do, perhaps don’t put peanuts out for a few days, let the magpies move along.

I actually case my blackbirds away tapping on windows and going outside I set bottlerockets off after them ,I am going to bring all my feeders in for 2 weeks and then start over. I never had a problem till I brought in millet, and corn seeds. Now I have ducks a rabbits 6 squirrels, and lots and lots of birds. We are spending a ton of money on them to as u all know.

Your videos are extremely hard to hear on my old laptop and I suspect that
has a very negative effect on the number of views and comments.
I had to add them to a playlist to watch later by casting my laptop
to my TV which has much better speakers.
But I wonder how many people would be willing to do that.
