Yeah looking back they cool him down intentionally. Instead of making him champion in 06' (which imo was too late) RVD should have been world champion in 2002
I always heard stories about pay off's. I wonder if that was more a test & a way for WWE talent to begin a relationship with management. If you never correct what you think you are owed. Then you won't go far type thing.
I could never stand Jim Ross as he was always the Real Weasel to me. Heenan was probably best at what he did besides managing he knew what to say to push the line without crossing. His classic commentary when Jericho unmasked Juvi really showed the way :). Stark Contrast to Roots 2 McMahan Jesse The Body when Piper was Whipping Mr T hehe ;). I've been around people like JR. I noticed Dark Side of Ring he omits the parts with Golddust or those in AEW heh. Michael Hayes thought you were Spicolli from FAst Times At Ridge Mont High ;). RVD was always the Main Event in ECW even though didn't have Title just TV and Tag. Sabu with him I think top 5 All Time when I Did my ranking ;). Maybe RVD 420 BBQ Sauce with CBD :).
