I am so sad for you sir. My prayers are with you! I lost my two sons in same wreck of a vehicle. 25 years ago. 18 and 28. My faith kept me upright! I have my daughter. I am thankful for that. I will pray for you and your family. My oldest son had a wife and three children. Let them know it is ok to talk about their father. Hugs from an old old Grannyi. I know you are so proud of him - and all US citizens I know say thank you - and your son for service to this country. My oldest served in Desert Storm. It's so hard to know what to say at a time like this - other than prayers and much love!
Im crying for u here in uk...truly heartbreaking for any loving dad. ..eternal rest grant to him O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon them all Amen x
Mr. O'Hara I am so terribly terribly sorry ! Your love for your son is so palpable and he looks to be a wonderful person. Just like you. I am a veteran and don't feel it was he or his crew or the ATC that is at fault. I thank him now for his service. And wish I could give you an actual not just virtual hug of condolences.
Most Military personnel know better than to run a TRAINING EXERCISE anywhere near civilians. Whoever manages this training failed your son, and 66 other souls. My sympathies to all of the families.
Yeah, these military folks used civilians as their training tools, without giving the citizens the ability to be aware of it or provide consent. As a native Virginian, can’t say I will ever look at flying the same knowing some barely experienced military pilot can be using me and the plane I am on as their target practice.
What a sad time for this father and his son’s family and mother. My son served 4.5 years in the Air Force and I don’t think I could survive something like this. So very awful for all the people lost and their families and friends. The country is grieving.
heres ur evidence why this mans son is dead , do ur research instead of lockstepping. An aspiring air traffic controller who claimed he was denied a job because of diversity targets said the aviation agency’s obsession with inclusion made an accident likely to happen. Andrew Brigida, 35, scored 100 per cent in his training exam but alleged that he was denied a position in an air traffic control tower because the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) recruitment process favoured diverse candidates. He is part of a class action lawsuit filed against the federal agency. Daily telegraph.
🕯🕊Rest In Eternal Peace: Staff Sgt. Ryan Austin O’Hara, 28, of Lilburn, Georgia/GA, & Heartfelt Condolences To Ryan's Dad/Gary and Family On 'The Passing' Of Ryan...
I’m so sorry for this father’s loss. There were only 19 out of 30 required controllers in the tower, and one controller was covering both helicopters and airliners.
@@doubaya2959really? Doesn’t even matter whose fault or mistake it was. Would it have cost you anything to show respect for the lives lost? Some decency?!
@@bolaadetiba8220killing 66 people due to mistakes made from having barely 500 flight hours experience while attempting to tackle one of the most challenging air spaces in the country doesn’t really deserve a lot of respect. Maybe the fault really lies with the military for allowing this or promoting it as competence, but either way, respect for mass killings isn’t really warranted. 🤷♀️
Deepest condolence to the families and loved ones of victims of airplane and helicopter collision in Washington DC. We included them in our evening prayers. "Eternal rest grant unto O Lord and let your perpetual light shine upon them." Amen
God Bless You Sir. MY HEART GOES OUT TO YOU AND I SALUTE YOUR SON'S SERVICE. FOR I COME FROM A BIG MILITARY FAMILY. I ALSO AM FROM GA. I PRAY FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
My condolences to Gary and your family. It's Terrible how the media has to be so ignorant and bug families after losing a loved one. If it wasn't CBS ,it would have been another one. This should be against the law.
I'm SO GLAD you asked him about the effect of Trump's words & actions!! People need to know words matter!! Of greater importance though, the loss of his son is SUCH A CRUSHING EVENT!! MY HEART BREAKS FOR THIS FATHER AS HE ENDURES THIS IMMEASURABLE SACRIFICE!! I lost my daughter in 1997, so I know the tremendous weight of grief. It is a long journey!! I encourage this father to accept help if offered, & to seek solace & advice if needed. Don't let rumpt steal your son's valor!! Cherish your son's memory, speak of him often, celebrate his life; it will help you heal. Lean on the LORD, for HE loved your son also!!
I am so sorry Sir, my heartfelt condolences to you and your family. He will be watching over you all and your Grandson has a Guardian Angel. God Bless you all.
Sir, I am very sorry about the loss of your son. I was in Vietnam and your son in Afghanistan and he served his country. Had the 1K applicants (under biden admin) been hired other than being denied because of DEI crap -- the FAA would maybe have been able to avert this crash because of more staff in the contol tower that fateful night.
Just heartbreaking. I don't think I could have done that, but to see his pain makes it sink in deeper of what happened to those people no matter who was at fault. 💔
My coworker was in that AA plane. My other coworker that was with us in San Diego who worked with him everyday also said she immediately felt that it was him in that plane when she heard the news, even thought it wasn’t his normal route. We found out yesterday that his original flight was connecting through Dallas but it was delayed and he would’ve missed his connection, so he unfortunately changed flights last minute. He was 71 and an amazing human being. A total rockstar at our company for 14 years. The best on our team and one of the hardest workers I know. So sorry for his family and grandkids he left behind. 😔🙏
A flag and everyone lined-up...Was that beside the river or where? The body was taken from a van and placed into an ambulance. That all seems odd....Did the father reach out to CBS...how did CBS find him?
Any person who serves is a hero....any family that sacrifices are also hero's.....those who make the ultimate sacrifice of their life and those who lose the ones they love to the service of their country should be shown reverence and respect to the highest level. Thank you sir for your service and sacrifice and to your family thoughts and prayers to you and may God be merciful and guide you through your mourning with grace and love! To all those whom haven't served or lost a time with a loved one who has served or lost someone to service be it military or EMS please take time to honor these GREAT people!! 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲

Shock. I found my mother dead and bled out in the bathroom on a random Sunday morning. I was surprised how well I could function.
agree 100% watched my sister die,got a coffee that morning. 7 years later I’m the most broken person, can’t describe the despair I feel.

😂😂😂 That's a lie or he would of appeared on Fox by now. White guys have been crashing planes for decades but that's ok.
nonsense

Why am i tearing up more than the father of the soldier.
CBS please cut your agenda. We are Americans and respect families. Do not put your commentary on this situation. I am ashamed of you
How is it that CBS has an agenda when they are only reporting what the President said?
They can't help themselves, they are no longer a news organization, they are a Disney fantasy organization, and destined for the dustbin.
They just said what Trump said. That's news bro. Simple reporting of FACTS. Get your brainwash fixed.
I pray you feel the presence of GOD, dear Dad , as you remember your precious son!! we are thinking of him & his family !
