The female pilot was an aide/staffer at the White House and so she would have to be a hard-core lefty to get that assignment and so the Progressive Elitist Media is going to do all it can to protect her and their agenda.
It was the Pilot (Rebeccah Holbach) who was receiving the check ride and I've seen where she was an aide or 'staffer' at the White House and that's fine however as a retired Military and Airline Instructor Pilot this immediately raises a flag. I'm just spit balling here and searching for contributing factors, but staffers were notorious for being careerists who were not necessarily engaged in their primary job of flying aircraft. The instructor was a Chief Warrant Officer who's now giving a check ride to a much higher-ranking officer who is also a woman (extremely powerful) who is also a staffer in the White House. This is a BIG RED FLAG because we MAY have a situation of intimidation or hesitation on the instructor's part, and this may have caused hesitation to intervene at the appropriate time. The Helo was already 100ft off its altitude when it collided with airliner. We'll have to wait on CVR to have more information because if she's having troubles with her flying then this may have distracted him from finding traffic. Was this check ride being done because she had become noncurrent in her flying duties?
that was a former assignement with sleepy joe you twit. She was assigned to the Aviation detachment at Fort Belvoir not the White House. Clowns like you need to get their facts straight.

The pair failed to see and avoid traffic called out by Washington Tower after stating that they had the traffic in sight. Clearly the H-60 crew did not have the traffic in sight, failed to fly at or below the required 200' altitude on the route, and are the likely cause of 67 people to lose their lives.

I'm going to guess a lot of Trump hate was in her social media posts, some that may have questioned her fitness to be in an aircraft or even in the military. But, I can only guess that as her family was busy scrubbing her accounts for the last three days. The training she was receiving, reportedly, was to fly VIPs. The only relevant question is why was the Blackhawk so high above it's assigned 200' elevation. Why didn't the controller say get back down to your assigned altitude. Why did the Blackhawk fly into the known Glide Path without proper instructions from ATC. They should have been assigned verbally to their 200' ceiling. The Blackhawk is ultimately at fault. However, ATC failed too. PAT-25 maintain 200' flight level on assigned routes passing under Glide Path. Watch for traffic. The procedure for crossing a Glide Path was not followed. Tell that Controller to find a new career, this one is done.😢
There is apparently some evidence that the heli was flying at 200 feet and only swerved upwards to 300 feet just before the collision. Which would mean that the ATC would not have been able to foresee the crash. So why, if this is true, did the heli swerve up so much? Were they blinded by the lights or by their night vision goggles and lost control of things ?
Nobody lied, but sometimes the mind tricks itself into seeing something it expects to see. Whether that was another landing aircraft, a departing aircraft, or background lights that are all around at that altitude, we may never know. Actually the best policy in this case might have BEEN to lie if there was any question in the helo crew's mind at all...just say "Negative Contact" and then the controller would have immediately jumped into action to separate them.
Airhead was flying at twice the allowable altitude and only had less than 500 hours total flight time, not enough to be handling these complex flying situations on her own. I guess the Army was desperate to meet their female quota.
the problem isn't that they lowered standards, but they couldn't hire enough white guys because a certain percentage of minorities was not met, there has been an ongoing shortage of ATCs and over 1000 white males have sued the FAA because they met the requirements and were not hired. the result of this is that ATC is massively understaffed, and 1 ATC controller was doing the job of 2 controllers and that may have resulted in the accident. the other controller was not there because he was not hired because he was too white or too male. And even if the helicopter was at its proper height (she wasn't) and turned to "pass behind" the jet the wake vortices of the jet would easily have put it in the river, so this is just as much on the FAA and ATC. no way these 2 should have been there at the same time. there is a whole lot of blame to go around here, not just the pilot.
@@utamu777 Correct, and both the PIC and the IP failed to see and avoid, but she was 100' above the maximum allowable altitude for her route and outside the corridor for the route (in the worst possible direction) and fault always falls to the person at the controls. The largest part falls to the FAA and their insane setup of these routes and separation standards.

They were NOT looking at the right plane. The helicopter crew had their eyes on another plane that was veering AWAY from them. The air traffic controller did not specify which plane the crew should have been watching.
You obviously don’t pay attention or didn’t listen to the full atc recording. The tower told the helicopter that the CRJ was approaching to land runway 33 from the Wilson Bridge which is south of the airport, not the plane “veering away” because it had just taken off from runway 1 and it is normal and required to turn away from the prohibited area around the White House and Capitol.
That's right. I never heard ATC telling the helicopter that a plane was LANDING. I'm pretty sure they were looking at the one taking off. Only takes a few seconds for disaster. ATC must have had them on radar, should have yelled 'you're heading directly at the plane -reduce altitude'. Never happened. I blame both ATC and the helicopter crew.
To be clear, Captain was her military rank (different than Captain in the commercial world). The military used Commander instead. Btw, she was in training just as the pilot (white male) who crashed the F-35 in Alaska. Leave the politics out of it and let’s not rush to judgment and yes the public has the right to ask questions.
I'm confused by these comments because the traffic controller asked the helicopter pilots do they see the plane but the male pilot answers but everyone is blaming the woman. Do you all know how stupid this sounds. The white male was piloting the plane. That's why he answered. The passenger would not answer if he don't have any way of stopping the accident from happening. The traffic controller sounds like a white man and the pilot was a white man but lets blame the white woman and say it was DEI. IF it comes out with evidence showing that the pilot was the man. Textbook DEI.

Dude, take your meds.

They seen it? Only trashy people use seen instead of saw
Airhead was flying at twice the allowable altitude and only had less than 500 hours total flight time, not enough to be handling these complex flying situations on her own.
I guess the Army was desperate to meet their female quota.
Female El Gee Bee and a Biden staffer
She wasn't alone. Have you even been listening?? 😄😄
the problem isn't that they lowered standards, but they couldn't hire enough white guys because a certain percentage of minorities was not met, there has been an ongoing shortage of ATCs and over 1000 white males have sued the FAA because they met the requirements and were not hired. the result of this is that ATC is massively understaffed, and 1 ATC controller was doing the job of 2 controllers and that may have resulted in the accident. the other controller was not there because he was not hired because he was too white or too male.
She wasn't on her own and she was being recertified. Isn't that part of the training process?
@@utamu777 Correct, and both the PIC and the IP failed to see and avoid, but she was 100' above the maximum allowable altitude for her route and outside the corridor for the route (in the worst possible direction) and fault always falls to the person at the controls. Obviously not! They were distracted, limited field of view, and climbing. Look at it like this, you can't see out of the roof of your car. They thought they had visual on the plane but it was the wrong plane. At this point, they're not paying attention or looking for another plane. They climbed from 200ft to 300 ft in seconds, colliding with the plane that was above them.
I wonder if it’s possible the copilots were distracted with their cellphones. They should check them if they had them. Maybe they relaxed and were scrolling so they didn’t see the plane coming
Pilot sure sounded like a "dude"
Huh???
That was the Co-Pilot
U.S. Army should be sued
I knew it was the Chopper's fault and this explains everything. She was unqualified to fly that chopper.
