i`ll take the bobcat
Me too!!
Same
The Bobcat any day, I own myself a 2020 Bobcat T76 awesome machine wouldn’t trade it for any Jeep
raymond4uhatrz just picked one of those up a few weeks ago. Excited so far!
Hahaha. I had brush cleared in front of my house last fall. Friend of mine has a skid loader. He borrowed that tree puller from his friend. He was pulling 50+ feet long trees and carrying them to a brush pile. It was awesome watching him clear that area out. I did not have all of the trees removed, but we cleared it out to give them room to grow and flourish.
I have the Danuser Intimidator and a john Deere Machine tacked machine. Great combination for getting work done and relieving oneself from the stresses of practicine medicine
Looks fun, but I just use a 3/8” chain hooked to the drawbar on my tractor. Wife and I took down about a quarter acre of up to 30-40’ trees in two days. That bobcat does look faster and easier though. But there is a cheaper way for anyone who can’t afford that cool toy. :)
Having the right tool for the job always helps.
Josh - I have the Danuser Intimidator on my Kubota SVL75- love it - do yourself a favor, once you pull the tree, work the tilt up and down a few times, it will shake most of the dirt off root ball…makes for much easier burning.
Well, that was fun! Man that is the machine for the job, can't believe the size of trees it can remove. Great work. Blessings
I’ve got one. I originally used it on my 100HP JD cab tractor and it didn’t do so well, tractor just isn’t made for that like a skid steer is,. I bought a CAT 279D and it rules on that machine. Love it, it’s also amazing for prying giant rocks out of the ground. You couldn’t imagine the side of rocks I’ve pulled out with it. Killer tool!
Awesome machine Josh. Best way ive seen to remove brush. Bet it'd be great for removing autumn olives and multi flora roses.
What a neat thing to have. When you want a field cleared that is the best. A farm field or pasture is really needed on a farm. Weather for growing food or feeding cattle. God bless.
That thing is a beast! It did way better than I ever expected.
Man, it is so much fun to watch you demo new or different "toys" Glad that you are there to video all these awesome things. Keep it up and say hi to "Mrs. Stoneyridg Farmer"
Glad you like them!
Me and my brother just got our first TYM 47 hp tractor with the intimidator. Haven't received the intimidator yet but can't wait to see that bad boy in action.
Have a quick attach tree puller, and it is the king of tree pullers. So much fun. Have it on a Kubota svl75-3 and now I want a bigger 97 machine
Looking into getting a tree puller. Trying to decide on the intimidator or the quick attach extreme puller. Thoughts?
@ The intimidator is very popular but I’d like to think that it is mostly because it’s less $$$. The quick attach is just as absolute beast. I don’t think you could break it if you tried. Well worth the money in my opinion.
The side jobs you could do That Bob cat is awesome with that attachment man at the work you can do with it it would pay for its self in no time great video Josh
Pretty slick attachment Josh - especially if the intended use if pasture taking the roots and all.
That is a strong machine some of tree's where quite big bit it got them out good job thanks for sharing take care
That machine is a beast.
Love the way that the link ends in "woo" 😉
Nice touch 👍
Now that is slick. Never knew Bobcat had such a machine and attachment.
I used to pull trees out with my old Farmall Super C (that money-pit! - glad it's gone). I'd tie off as high as I could, and basically pry them out.
I'll take the bobcat too! This is actually a good piece of equipment. Ripping the tree out with most of its roots allows you clear the land properly but also in some cases, likely gives you the option of transplanting some of the trees somewhere where you may want to create a windbreak.
Jeep😆 but that a neat piece of equipment for sure..
Have a good evening 🌷🌷🌷
You get to play with the neatest toys!
The most impressive part to me is how clean the roots are coming out of the ground. Would like to see how the puller would work with a TL12V2 like letsdig18 uses. Nice job with the video.
Great video. Looks really good with the brush gone!
Forestry mulcher, solve two problems at the same time with no risk when burning the slash. I would also salvage the fire wood sized trees. Also saves on time having to tram the trees etc to a slash pile.
Bobcat all day long. It will be running in three years. 😂😂😂. Love the work that combo does, Josh!!!! Thank you
I do forestry mulching and I have a sawmill. I have a Danuser Intimidator and a 12k John Deere 333g. The danuser is my favorite attachment.
Great job Josh!
Gorgeous video Josh - lovely music (especially the intro). Sunny, outdoors using great equipment. Stoney Ridge Farm at its best. Thanks!
"liked' as usual.
Wow that is awesome! We need that over here on our channel! So cool! Have a great weekend guys!
My 2011 jeep was totaled in a head on collision in February. Now I drive a 2000 Nissan frontier with transmission problems. Thanks progressive...I'd want the jeep.
That thing is a monster. Good job
Hey Josh🙋🏻♂️ ROCKY KNOB FARM LOVES STONEY RIDGE
Fast easy and staying cool Nice job
I like the tune good tree stumpin music
I would choose the machine every time.
Awesome job Josh, great camera shots.
WOW!!! That Cat is an impressive machine
That Bobcat is awesome!
I would love the Bobcat. I have Bobcat goals.
Thanks for sharing.
☮️-Kirsten
The sassafras roots are good for making tea. You can see it beside the Bobcat at 10:39. It's not very big yet.
The machine, Josh. Those things are so versatile and efficient.
You know you can close pinchers and stick them straight down into the ground in front of the tree then wiggle going back and forth a little and break some of the roots. You can pull a lot bigger trees that way.
we pushed this to it's limits however you're only limited by the capabilities of the machine you are using
Hey Josh , I'd take the skid steer & tree puller over the Jeep any day .
It would do more of what I need done , Still keeping you & Mrs in thoughts & Prayers 🙏 .
LOL. Me too buddy. Thanks for keeping us in your prayers, tough times on us right now buddy
Be nice if every area could get rentals of that equipment, always going to be demand based access. Wonderful force multipliers that & a hammer flail attachment would be a sweet kit. Be great if there were roaming brush/overgrown field guys like the combine crews in the corn belt during harvest time. Nice to see this, sux can't get it here..
Impressive, and does far less damage to soil structure than any bulldozer.
Impressive attachment! Bobcat all day long, it's much more functional than a Jeep. Great video! 👍
The track machine without a doubt!
Gonna try one of those on my 333G here in just a couple weeks.
I would pick the skid steer over the Jeep. Thanks for the video!
Looking good great job man
I enjoy your videos thank you for your video I love farming stuff
We have 2 of the tree pullers its awesome
Those juniper trees have the same fragrance as cedar, so you might want a little of that for your closets.
Man I love the fital music
Bobcat! All the way.
Fun stuff for sure
The bobcat without a thinking
Very impressive setup! Slight view obstruction with big cedars haha
I’ll take the bobcat!
man, that thing would make quick work of cleaning up our 4 acres of overgrown pine.
that was awesome
The BobCat and attachments
Great job
Makes short work of it. Nice.
Nice Jeep
Skidd steer
I like jeeps but the bobcat for sure!
How big of a tree does it handle? I have about 5 acres I want to clear for a building and a nursery. I’ve been leaning towards a midsize excavator but I’ve never done this type of work.
I will take the bobcat and implement. Jeeps suck at pulling trees, and like you, I have a small forest to pull up.
Your neighbor may get a little more pasture by clearing that ravine. That ravine appears to drain into the pond below. What about runoff sediment filling pond below? Maybe he needs pasture more than the pond.
Will you have to do any smoothing where the trees were pulled? Maybe would be a good job for the Ventrac power rake?
Nice one sir
I would love try that thing out
Satisfying to watch.
ill take the bobcat all day
That is great. I will take bobcat!
bobcat definately!
I have a feeling Skiddy Bop's days on the farm are numbered. I don't think there is much of a use for wheeled skid steers when you can get tracked machines. Also, don't forget, you need a mini ex too. Skid steers are lonely without the company of a beautiful mini ex. Wooooo!!!!!!
I hope you're planning on milling those cedar trees....Ya'll have a good day on the Stoney Ridge Farm!!
Bobcat for sure! :)
That’s badass!
That was impressive ,,,
My wife says she want the Jeep. I say get the Bobcat.
Josh, what else do you have to give away?
I’d definitely take the Bobcat over the Jeep. Hands down!
I had an idea the other day of something very much like this tool but for a different purpose. I call it a “Post Setter” and it would basically work the same way but a little different, kinder and gentler. Rail road ties are my choice for corner posts and H posts for fencing and if you have ever worked with rail road ties you all know they are extremely heavy. This tool looks to be very capable of performing that job. I wanted something I could reach down onto a flat bed trailer and pick up a rail road tie and maybe with some repositioning stand it straight up vertical and drop it into a pre drilled hole. Presently I am building a wood shed and I am using 10 and 12 foot long ties for the posts. My tool would not need big teeth just small teeth and could be used for setting posts for pole barns as well as fencing work. For pole barns and corrals this tool would be very handy indeed. I appreciate the tall back guard on this tool demonstrated to keep something from slipping and coming into the cap on top of the operator. This tool with deferent jaws would work well I think. Thanks for this video specially. :)
The bobcat
It's like a giant weed puller.
I would definitely choose the Bobcat. And that is a VERY nice implement, especially on a skid steer loader. Would not be as easy to use on a tractor because you would not be able to see it.
Already got the jeep, same color in a 4 door sahara, guess it would have to be the skid steer
Hello sir watching here in iwate japan sir
Impressive Machine
Bobcat !
Great video Josh 🇺🇲 WOOOOOO 🇺🇲
Definitely would like the bobcat to play with on the farm.
I think I'd rather leave the hedgerow in, most of that space that was cleared doesn't really look all that usable. I'm all about reclaiming farmland, but leave a little room for the critters too ;)
How long do you let the brush pile dry out before you burn it?
Good stuff buddy
Spread those wood ashes on the fields area that have broom straw. Wood ashes can work, instead of buying lime.
