Mark, thank you so much for this. Readwise is awesome and you revealed it to me. As you explain the synergy with Kindle books is superb. In addition I imported 7 years of saved articles from Pocket, cancelled my subscription and went for a Readwise subscription. Thank you once again and good luck with your RUclips channel. I will be tuning in to your mellifluous voice on a regular basis. Cheers!
Hey Sharon. Readwise should work just fine on a Scribe in the way it does with other Kindles. I don’t believe it would sync handwritten notes within books though - we need handwriting recognition to arrive for that one I think! 😩 Nice purchase of the Scribe, I’ve just released a review of my own Scribe I bought recently. You should check it out 😁

Excellent content. I didn't know about Readwise. Thanks for sharing. By the way, from time to time I come across some newspaper articles which criticize e-books, that is, they mention the wonders of the paper books. In a way, they don't treat e-books like a real book. It's some sort of discrimination, just like in a given moment in history "white" people, in general, didn't consider "black" people were real humans, that is, they were put in some sort of subcategory. Well, this is a very important topic to cover. Please make videos about it. -- P.D.: Your channel may be new, but see: here I am commenting from the other side of the world, from another continent, from a distant country: greetings from Costa Rica. (By the way, I plan to open my own RUclips channel in a very near future and I will feel very motivated when someone from a far away country lets me know that they watched my video). So, keep it up!
I’ve never understood this “looks like ink on paper” thing. I can’t see any difference between an iPad, a kindle and a book. They all look exactly the same to me. I feel like I’m missing out!
Thanks for this review. Never heard of Readwise before but I’ll look into it. I have subscribed :)
Thank you so much! 😀

Glad to be of service! Thank you for commenting 😀 As an aside I had to look up ‘mellifluous’ 😆 Appreciate that too.
I am interested to know if Readwise integrates with the Scribe? Just purchased a Scribe; also have an Oasis. Thanks for the videos.

And the page turning on e-ink devices is absolutely awful. I don’t know how people put up with it.
And it’s black and white only. What am I missing?
Appreciate your perspective though I obviously don’t (literally) see it the same way 👀
