@@SingularSoundOfficial You’re welcome. And please check out the video I did about Beat Buddy on my channel. Another video about the Aeros coming soon. ruclips.net/video/JsVC_Qb8ldI/видео.html
I’ve had the BB for awhile now and just picked up the Aeros. They both really inspire me to lay down tracks and have exponentially helped improve my musicality. I have a nice pedalboard with some fancy boutique pedals that are worth the hype for the tones they produce, but you guys really deserve an amazing amount of credit for devising and producing these products. At their most basic they are above and beyond anything out there.
Thank you for the kind words!!! Also, make sure to check out the Midi Maestro. This addition will unlock even more possibilities to perform/practice music.
Thanks for this David. I was just wondering about a mute pause type of function and now I see that I can do it. Some of these features just get lost in all the info in the initial how-to videos so it's really good that you make these mini vids about some of these features. Thanks for taking the time.
Thanks David i have all three units and am starting a school in England for looping, so this will be our foundation of teaching. Brilliant gear i love your products. I have used more than 8 different loopers including software based and this is simplicity with power, maybe a good slogan for you 👍🏻👍🏻😂😂 Desperate for the IOS app for the Maestro and for the ability for the maestro to control the Aeros 👍🏻
Wow, Wallace, thanks so much for your comments, and a school for looping sounds incredible! We'd love to get in touch with you and talk more, please reach out to moises@singularsound.com at your earliest convenience, we are eager to support music education in all forms!
Last explanation almost solved my issue. How can I pause aeros, with drums still playing, then start it in sync again? Stopping using aeros can do half the job, because starting it does not start on the bar. So my work around is stopping in aeros, then using transition in BB to start the same part again. But i suppose there are reduced foot taps to do this? eg [pearl jam's last kiss]
Hey there, you can try the Mute Pause option in the playing hands free slide-out menu. This will mute and or unmute all at the longest loop seam. If you have fades on it will also fade in/out.
@@SingularSoundOfficialCool. I'm going to try that out. But then for fast pace songs, the time to engage the slide out can be tricky. Please consider in future fw, if starting in bar using start/stop in aeros can be a way, especially when in beat with BB.
You can have the Aeros as the MIDI slave and use your DAW as the main master clock. This way, you have multiple tracks on both systems. We're working on making the Aeros to behave as the master clock and we hope to have it in a few months ahead.
Hey there, make sure your Aeros is set to the correct MIDI settings whether you are trying to send MIDI to the BeatBuddy or vise versa. If you are still having problems, please send a video to our customer support team showing us what is going on at support@singularsound.com. Thank you!
Curious if midi sync can be achieved with the Beatbuddy, Aeros and a multi effects such as headrush gigboard so that the time based guitar effects automatically allign with the bpm of the Beatbuddy?
Hi there, you can have multiple devices synced up using the BeatBuddy as the master clock. As default, the Aeros behaves as MIDI thru so you can plug an additional MIDI 5pin cable into your pedal effects board. Feel free to sign up to our forum where you can find many related answers to this topic. forum.singularsound.com/
The Aeros should be placed on the end of your signal chain. The BeatBuddy MINI 2 does not have MIDI capabilities so you will need to select the freemode (non-equalized) to be able to loop along the beat on the MINI 2. Make sure to check the regular BB to sync it with the Aeros and how powerful they're together.
Hi Kevin, you can download more additional beats on our website. The BeatBuddy as default has 220+ beats in a variety of styles. www.singularsound.com/pages/premium-library
I have been using Beat Buddy for 5 years, and now I have ordered Aeros, but I am interested in whether if I have a list of songs on BB and make loops for that list on Aeros, I can change the order of songs on Aeros via BB? I hope you understood what I mean.
Hmmm... i think this is the answer to my question: "we have a few things we plan on implementing on the Aeros first, but we plan on looking into a system that allows for the BB and Aeros to have matched songs and beats so you can instantly set both, this will be a little down the road, and once we do that, I think that will cover MIDI song selection!" But I hope it will be soon!
Just tried to plug a midi cable into my nice, new #Beatbuddy. It won't fit into the chassis, just by a hair. Please tell me, you didn't intentionally design the #Beatbuddy to need a special adapter cable, that little pigtail I see you sell for $15. I tried to ask this question of Singular Sound on your website, but there's no easy way to contact your customer support. Please advise.
Hi Don, thanks for purchasing our products. We're thinking to implement a new MIDI port in the next model but we have not experience this as a big issue. It could be that you have a broken MIDI adapter cable and sometimes the 5 pins inside can get bend down a bit causing this problem. Please email us at support@singularsound.com so we can send you a new cable your way.
Is it possible to make DAW master and Beatbuddy slave, through Midi? (Like press record on DAW and Beatbuddy starts playing synced with DAW).What I pretend to accomplish is to record on DAW synced with Beatbuddy, so I after I can do cuts on the edition process. I would love to have news about this Singular Sound! Cheers
Technically, it is possible, yes, you have some options, the BB can receive MIDI notes through the MIDI sync cable's IN port (take note of the Note On and note off settings in Main Pedal > MIDI settings > MIDI in) and then you can record the MIDI stream sent from your computer to the BB as audio using the BB output jacks. Remember it runs at 44.1kHz and 24bit. The biggest thing on your end is you have to look into how your DAW handles being master and sending out clock information. The BB responds to ext clock masters through MIDI.

I just updated my BeatBuddy to firmware 3.8.0. The Next Part function works well with my Aeros Looper, I understand it's the default setting. In this video you show in the BB settings on the pedal the ability to enable or disable Next Part. I've looked around in the settings and can't seem to find this setting, where is it located? BTW I'm Loving the Aeros! Thanks
Thanks for the comment! The Next Part option is located in the "MIDI out" settings. You can disable it and change the song parts in the Aeros manually.
Amazing products, David. Thanks!

Can the Aeros be the Master clock? Would love for my live loops to control the playback tempo of midi adn/or wav files from my synth or DAW.

Does Beatbuddy mini have MIDI?
Only the regular BeatBuddy has MIDI capabilities.
