Thanks for the comparison. I had a 66 GT coupe with rally pack, 4 speed Borg Warner, and high output 289 272 hp. It was a fun car. Currently drive a 2018 GT, my 3rd mustang, which is simply an amazing car.
Super cool video, I enjoyed it so much. As a guy who owned both a '66 C code coupe and a '65 K code 2+2, another difference that most people don't remember is that in '65 seat belts were an option, '66 was the first year they were mandatory by the feds...my '65 Hipo had no seat belts (I installed the Shelby GT-350 belts.
Super interesting; best channel also for additional informations. Not just selling classic beauties, but also very solid backgrounds. Couldn't be more trustworthy. Thanks.
Just ONE name change in 20 plus years ... we were called MyRod.com before finally being able to secure the name that fits us best - QualityClassics.com .... thanks so much for watching!!
Boy and there is nothing wrong with it but, you guys really like your Mustangs. What is your process for finding them in the first place. Another question, how about shaking it up a little and showing some C2 Corvettes. Would make it more interesting. Have a Great weekend.

Love the Ivey Green, I have a ‘65 convertible Ivey Green that I’m working on
The exhaust sounds great! What makes it sound so good?
My '65 GT Mustang had the pod dash, with the green and white pony interior, and 4V 225 hp 289. Think it was the same color green as your '66.
I’m thinking the headliners were different on standard cars 65-66(?)
Beautiful old Mustangs!!😁🤟👍🛠️🔧
also the round gauges came on all k code cars whether GT or not
Was the pony interior standard in a 66 gt?
the fan switches are different and the radio has a different dial face. (different numbers)
The '65 grill is called honeycomb grill
How bout the corners of the hood!!?!.
