probably a double edged sword. on one hand, you got it all as far as the genes, opportunity, teaching, and so forth. however, the pressure is probably like nothing else.
@@icekangz817I, sure Matt has talked to them and said something along the lines of enjoy the ride but there will be more to life after baseball. At least that’s what my dad said to me when I was a teen and he played ball in the late 70s and early 80s

Way to go out on a limb with that one. One of the best and most hyped prospect to come out in the last 5 yrs playing on a contender. I'd be more surprised if he didn't win ROtY.

@@coltenley2195 Sweet. I'm outta Tulsa. When I was 11 back in 91 I went to OSU baseball camp and Jackson's grandpa Tom was head coach. Matt was my age and he was there hanging out. Great baseball family there.

My practice growing up was wiffle ball in the back yard and sky balls with dad and grandpa. These kids are just spoiled.
Their dad is Matt Holliday. Do you really think he’s going to raise them on only wiffle bats and tennis balls?

Forget the baseball, how bout the sound from that iron shot.....
must be super nice to have the pedigree. hope he can live up to his fathers expectations. it cant be all easy to exceed what your parents done so i hope he can beat the odds. the burden of dion sanders children has to be through the roof. barry sanders kid could not make it but ed mccaffrey's kid is exceeding what his father did (minus the titles). good luck jackson holliday.
