Just like you said, just found one of these...red color, 1995 Aspencade, it's winter...I can ride in the winter- just take it easy on throttle, and you've given me a great idea of what this is. Of course I started with dirt bikes when 14. Drive an ST1000 now, and will keep it- I just cannot let it go, but the Wing should be even more comfortable. Here in two weeks.
Hell yeah dude definitely cop one man! Highly reccomend. I literally just got back from a road trip on this bike from maine all the way to the furthest point in alaska and back 16,000 miles with a passenger on the back and had zero issues. Bikes are bullet proof if u do all the right maintenance
I love my gl1500. Every thing about it is so sweet. Keep it 3500rpm for getting up and go. Also having the center stand makes it the best place to be when relaxing. No better place to be than on a goldwing
Yeah dude i love it so much. I was intimidated at first putting it up on the center stand but now i can do it by my self every time and i leave it on it every night. And also the seats are just leather underneath with a back rest and passenger arm rests, then it has sheep skin covers over everything lol so funny looking
Oh my. As a Brit, with something like 30-odd years of sports and sports-tourer bikes behind me, and my primary mode of transport for 20-odd years was bikes... I have always harboured a desire to hire or borrow a Gold Wing just to slowly enjoy the scenery on.a road trip up through Scotland. The arthritis is not too bad at the moment - maybe now's the time.
I found that exact same bike, same color, mine has a cassette of Chicago in it when i bought it. I rode it back from Canton Ohio to Gatlinburg Tennessee. Was the first weekend of March this year. Oh and it had 39900 miles. It’s a real peach!!
Fun video. Bike looks amazing. I live in PA and will usually ride 40 degrees and up. Add some heated grips it’ll be a game changer and they’re like 120 bucks. Ride safe friend
Enjoy it my friend, it's the best thing ever! My 1500 has been off the road since 2017 with rear end issues as it's a trike. Got a few bits to sort out and she'll be good to go again, just need some money!! Lol.
It was great when I first got it. Only managed to do under 500 miles until she gave me issues, it's certainly a great experience being a trike, can't wait to get on it again one day, also need a second mode of transport too. They are quite particular to the maintenance schedules but once you get on top of it and try and ride as often as you can, it just keeps purring away and giving you those smiles per mile
Cant Commet on the gl1500 ...only reason i didn't buy one they run timing belts and are carbureted...and have electrical issues .....just purchased the gl1800 2010 here in Australia similar color to yours has all the bells and whistles I'm over the moon with this bike was a HD owner would never go back enjoying the sweet ride from the wing
Carbs are not a problem. I used to be afraid of them but I have had a carbureted bike for a year and honestly I think I prefer them now. Because I can fix anything that goes wrong.
Interesting little banter we're having here. The only problem I here at the 1500 is its kind of heavier or feels heavier than the 12:00 does anybody know if that's true
@@Plunderbiscuit just like yours, but a bit more power. The most luxurious motorcycle on the highway my friend. I have a 1986 aspencade as well. Smoooooth
Looks like a stock seat with a sheepskin cover. Stock seat is not very comfy after 40000 miles or so. Lots of owners either cover the seat or buy aftermarket seats.

9:25 mark, Yup, I'm getting one. I was on the fence and good examples can be had for 2-4k. Insane value for that engine.

I love the radio 📻 😮 so relaxing cruising the backlanes and going fishing 🎣 🤟🤠

Can’t wait for the trips ahead !

Keep on continuing. Love that.
Haha i didnt even realize i said that lol. I like that too!!
Perfect bike! I am impressed.

Thanks for the ride :) I can't ride mine yet but there is one out there under the porch. dreaming
Hell yeah! Goldie for life!!!

I have a 1991 Honda Goldwing, anniversary edition, it doesn't have a reverse on it, but i love it anyway! 😊
Damn it I think a 1500 is going to be perfect and I want one thank you
Does it have reverse?
Oh yeah dude! Definitely very helpful to back it up lol
let the good times roll 💨
Goin down the roadddd feeling bad!
When is the road trip!?
She’s a beauty!
Biby
Awesome so happy for you
Thanks homie!!

@@Plunderbiscuit Thanks!
Keep on trucking big dog🤟 safe travels to Alaska
I don't know where you got that fuzzy-wuzzy gear on the seats but I gotta get me some!
Sheep wool man! So comfy and awesome looking

The 1500s have VERY FEW issues.
Gl1500 is the most trouble free goldwing for sure
Carbs are not a problem. I used to be afraid of them but I have had a carbureted bike for a year and honestly I think I prefer them now. Because I can fix anything that goes wrong.
My next bike will be a GL 1500 for sure. I had a 1200 had those vent things it's very nice cuz the bikes kind of hot
Hell yeah man! Yeah the vents are awesome on the highway to cool down the bike
Interesting little banter we're having here. The only problem I here at the 1500 is its kind of heavier or feels heavier than the 12:00 does anybody know if that's true
Sick bike!
Thanks man!
You bought yourself a grand luxury motorcycle bud. I have a 2008 gl 1800🇺🇸⭐️💫👍🏻Hoosier Wing
Haha its more comfortable than my couch! I love it so much
The gl1800 must be very nice

Should the chuck be fully open or closed, or halfway? I look forward to your reply, greetings my bro.
@@MsCinepolis do u mean the choke? I start my bike choked and once it warms up i shut it off slowly then ride it fully off
Now you're officially an "Old Man " 😅 Love my GL1800...
Haha not as old as the 1200’s
I’m about to trade my vtx1300 for one!! I’m so excited to get to use tape again
Lets go!! Goldie for days
The sound is lower a slow speeds. Once you speed up it will get louder.
ELOOK makes a bluetooth cassette Adapter that works very well.
Hell yeah i got 2 of them so awesome
What kind of seat is that? Looks super comfy

Most goldwings have a reverse feature, does yours?
Yes it does! Works awesome
I got one for sale 94, 61k miles. I’m in eastern PA.
nice wing
Thanks man!
sweet !!!!!!!!
Road trip soon!!
❤❤❤❤❤
Oh you Americans, just love Luxury forms of transport. I suppose the Gold Wing is a Caddilac
on two wheels. Fully loaded, just sit back and relax.
Looks like my 96.
i don't think those fancy seats of dead sheep are usable in rain.
Just put it too the test and honestly they dry out super fast once they get wet. 2 months on the road and they handled awesome
Oh yea...DO NOT overuse the reverse. Keep it for emergencies only. Too much use wrecks havoc on the starter. Enjoy.
Damm dude is that actually a common issue?
@@PlunderbiscuitProbably not just don't use it if you need couple of feet to back up. Bike is heavy but you are not that old and weak.😂
Honda Tripwing more like
Haha i like that!
Nice ride, but I thought American flags were banned in Mass?
My want for a Goldwing just became a NEED. Fpm
Hahah lets go!!! Best purchase ever
I was pretty interested in what you were saying then you started fast forwarding lol
Haha sorry man my audio got shot so it totally was all wind noises
40k. Practically a new bike.
The HOG
Such a unit
That thing is a boat lol
Does it have reverse? Ahaha
Hell yeah man! so funny
You chose wisely.
Now, go wash that crazy hair.
Stop yelling!
