Deuce and Mo, thanks for all the hard work you two put into pre and post game, as well as your podcast and channel! Shout out to you, Mo, for taking a picture with my dad in G1C before the game, when you were walking to the broadcast table! Thank you for being so nice!
So dumb losing sleep over this team but these losses are brutal. Every game is gonna count and at home against Atlanta short handed or not we need to win a game like this, especially with the game we got from Keon. We’ve played the 3rd easiest schedule and are 8-7. I’m fucking concerned man.
good game! who knew? the kings have a bench!. the kings have a problem, the offense without Demar Derozan looks different! the Kings 3 ball attack is back. the kings pace is back.
It's kind of scary for me that Sabonis and DeRozan the healthiest players in the NBA are out injured early in the season. Mike brown needs to manage minutes better or it will hurt us later in the season.
Yeah that's a great point. I'm not sure if it's because the bench was struggling to start off this season (I can't really tell if they're playing better now, with all the rotations being different due to injuries) but it seemed the starters just couldn't get off the floor, and those heavy minutes will definitely take a toll on even the healthiest of players
I think overall given the grievances with officiating they played oretty well but just missed some easy looks. But also there was no consistency with the officiating. They called how many moving screens against the kings vs the Hawks pulling the same things with no calls? And the last two fouls on Keegan were soft considering all the contact and grabbing being done by the Hawks.
Biggest mistake on the last play is Mclaughlin getting the ball and passing backwards to Fox. Had Keon already going forward and if he turned and went, they had a 2 on 1. Passing back to Fox who was already behind all 5 Hawks allowed them to be in good defensive position to contain and semi-double. I get getting the ball to your star, but you take the advantage over a no advantage situation. Time out definitely should've been called in that particular case.
Should Fox handle the ball more when our guys come back? Absolutely he should I’m good with demar dribbling the ball up but I’d rather see Fox penetrate then see Sabonis hold the ball at the elbow and have guys bump into each other and try the twirly twirl
Sucks we lost 2 of 3 but I’m an excited to get the guys back hopefully Friday. If they can shoot the 3 like they have with those guys back we should be a really good team. Also, they need to do a better job guarding the 3
games this weighted by refs are hard to care about the result at the end. It ceases to even be a competition in my head. I dont care who wins wwe matches
I’ll ask this here cause I didn’t get an answer on Kings Reddit (from a non Kings fan)-Why isn’t Keegan Murray getting the shot volume he got during the start of the season? Is he deferring, or is it a coaches game plan? I feel like with DeMar and Monk out, it seems logical to be the next man up, no?
Judging by tonight performance maybe we can find acouple guys like skal to come in and give us some minutes since he has nba experience. We have no size after Alex Len.
Fox has to start flopping guys that don’t flop don’t get rewarded guys that do are rewarded heavily I hope this is the breakout for Keon he looked amazing
Not trying to be the bad guy here but when you talk about who's guards 1-4 Jalen williams is guarding every PF/SF since his rookie season and he's given them trouble, and since chet got hurt Jalen Williams has averaged 25.0 points, 6.8 rebounds and 5.3 assists all this is facts not to mention he's our starting center now, so don't get mad at me for bringing up a name when you said who else is doing what murray is doing
Haha I loved the rebuttal. Jalen is obviously a better offensive player than Keegan. I just think he's in a far different situation than Keegan i.e. the only wing, playing the 2nd most minutes in the league. My point was that not many players in the league guard the best guy every single night pretty much the entire game.
@@DeuceandMo better offensive player? at this point in their career he's a better player period and most likely will make his first allstar game this season, He's a plus defender with a 7'2 wingspan and if you put Murray on OKC the thunder would be worse and if you put JDub on the Kings he would be ur 2nd best player on most nights
@@sulythoven I think you're misinterpreting what I'm saying. I'm in no way taking a shot at Jalen... REALLY, REALLY like Jalen's game. He's definitely a plus defender. I disagree on Keegan in OKC--He would thrive there. Like I said, he is literally the only wing on the Kings and has played the 2nd most minutes in the league. If he was an OKC, he wouldn't have to be tasked with guarding the best player exclusively, he'd be surrounded by a ton of versatile defenders and rim protection, and I think he'd be more efficient than he is right now because of those factors.
Keegan was never nba caliber . He only got easy open threes when his team and coaches set everything up for him as a rookie he was able to get wide open shots that’s it. He is not a nba player at all

DUDE. How did I forget? Keon Ellis was our 'Simply The Best' player of the game. Career-high 33 points and career-high 9 made threes

All of Heurter’s three’s hit the back of the rim and bounced off. Did he forget how to shoot?
If they officiated the game for Fox the way they did for whoever Keegan was guarding, we would’ve won by 20
Hunter would be near perfect for us

Tonight was more about foul trouble. He fouled out in 22 minutes. I felt like last game he wasnt looking for his enough
Because Keegan sucks and only can shoot if everyone does the work for him to get him wide open
He hasn’t been the same since the all star three point contest when he bricked every shot.
Boy a tough loss!!!
Keon Ellis needs to start and get 30+ mpg.

You guys can’t be serious about Murray’s last foul. He shoved the player with both hands in the air. It was an obvious foul
Soft but it is a foul but then some games it is okay. No consistency
Morgan is funny
