Im surprised there’s a growing audience who wants him gone (me included). To each his own, however I still don’t understand why people are so clingy to Ash when clearly newer Pokémon games are allowing you to reimagine your own Pokémon trainer with the customization functionalities being at its best optimization since X and Y. From when I was a kid, Ash Ketchum was the catalyst to my imagination but I made my own OC character to compensate for that. I can’t speak for everyone on that, but from what it looks like in the Pokémon Community, the majority made an attachment to Ash and can’t let him die.

Remove Satoshi and you pretty much removed the creator of the franchise if it ever happens. Ughh I just want Ash to leave already. We have been watching the same character for 26 years now and its getting really boring and tiring. Don’t get me wrong I love Ash and think he’s an amazing character but he has had SO MUCH character development at possibly the slowest rate of any character ever. Maybe people are overthinking this topic. The pokemon anime has shown consistently that ash does not need a "good" in-depth reason to travel to a new region. He can just travel to the Paldea region (or even just learn about it), see all the new pokemon he has never seen before and BAM!! That is good enough for ash. What I think will happen is ash will travel to Paldea and will be greeted as a celebrity with strong trainers wanting to battle him to be the very best. Ash will be challenged by the Champion of Paldea and, due to being unfamiliar with the gen 9 pokemon, Ash will lose giving him a reason to strive to get stronger. Ash will still be a champion level trainer, but they will nerph him just enough to give him something to strive for. Ash will probably not become a teacher at the academy, but will be a senior student or mentor figure. When it comes to the major battles of the series I think ash will take onthe 5 titin pokemon, 1-2 gymleaders (probably lerry and the strongest gymleader), and, 1-2 team star leaders.

I don’t know weather I want Ash to stay or leave, because I lost track of the show when Sun and Moon came out, but I will say I am fed up with people blaming Ash for stupid reasons like when he tries to catch a Pokémon without battling it first to teach the new kids who haven’t seen the previous seasons on how to catch a Pokémon by fighting it. Or how people criticize Ash for releasing his Pokémon when it supposed to teach kids when you love someone set them free, because your friends have to leave sooner or later. Or most of all because of how Ash never gets a girlfriend because the reason the show is geared towards little kids, and they think kissing and making out is gross.
I had this theory in my mind lately that Professor Turo is Ash’s dad while Sada is still Arven’s mom and the reason why Ash goes to Paldaea is because Area Zero interests him because he hears about the strange powerful Pokémon that live in there. This probably isn’t real, but the anime made me desperate to know who the father is at this point.

Ughh I just want Ash to leave already. We have been watching the same character for 26 years now and its getting really boring and tiring. Don’t get me wrong I love Ash and think he’s an amazing character but he has had SO MUCH character development at possibly the slowest rate of any character ever. I feel like he’s reached his peak when it comes to his development as the main character. Continuing with him would honestly be a disservice to the character. Let the man rest. I think it would be better to see a grown up Ash mentoring the new main protagonist. That would be awesome.

Maybe people are overthinking this topic. The pokemon anime has shown consistently that ash does not need a "good" in-depth reason to travel to a new region. He can just travel to the Paldea region (or even just learn about it), see all the new pokemon he has never seen before and BAM!! That is good enough for ash. What I think will happen is ash will travel to Paldea and will be greeted as a celebrity with strong trainers wanting to battle him to be the very best. Ash will be challenged by the Champion of Paldea and, due to being unfamiliar with the gen 9 pokemon, Ash will lose giving him a reason to strive to get stronger. Ash will still be a champion level trainer, but they will nerph him just enough to give him something to strive for. Ash will probably not become a teacher at the academy, but will be a senior student or mentor figure. When it comes to the major battles of the series I think ash will take onthe 5 titin pokemon, 1-2 gymleaders (probably lerry and the strongest gymleader), and, 1-2 team star leaders.
I want to see Ash keep going. If Ash leaves the anime then it would be really boring or rather the anime will lose a really good feeling. Ash should stay and start a new adventure to Paldea

I don’t know weather I want Ash to stay or leave, because I lost track of the show when Sun and Moon came out, but I will say I am fed up with people blaming Ash for stupid reasons like when he tries to catch a Pokémon without battling it first to teach the new kids who haven’t seen the previous seasons on how to catch a Pokémon by fighting it. Or how people criticize Ash for releasing his Pokémon when it supposed to teach kids when you love someone set them free, because your friends have to leave sooner or later. Or most of all because of how Ash never gets a girlfriend because the reason the show is geared towards little kids, and they think kissing and making out is gross.

I had this theory in my mind lately that Professor Turo is Ash’s dad while Sada is still Arven’s mom and the reason why Ash goes to Paldaea is because Area Zero interests him because he hears about the strange powerful Pokémon that live in there. This probably isn’t real, but the anime made me desperate to know who the father is at this point.
