Not been in a greggs for a while but they used to have a vat of soup behind the counter & around this time of year they did a festive one used to hit different in the cold weather

14:32 The texture of a yumyum is different bc the pastry is more similar to Danish pastry, which is like a rough puff pastry, butter or fat between thin layers, that also contains yeast as a rising agent. A doughnut is made with a more simple batter.
the best way to describe the yum yum is like a layered texture, it's firm but you can feel the bite through every bubble of dough, even tho it looks like it shouldnt have that texture at all

The Lion bar back in the day , came in one big bar that you broke in half , and the caramel that connected the 2 pieces represented the fangs of a lion . As for the buttys brown or HP sauce on everything except ...red sauce , Ketchup, Catsup, on sausage buttys or fishfinger buttys.

Yum Yums are my childhood favourite. As was Lilt. You can still get it but it’s under Fanta now. Fanta pineapple and grapefruit flavour. There’s a little icon on the bottle saying formally Lilt.

I totally agree, a Lion bar is perfectly balanced between crispy, sweet, kind of salty, not too heavy or sticky. What a bonus at the end
