    I had the best mule I ever had finished buy a great horse trainer. We agreed he would treat like any QH and had trained some good ones had won the state. She was the first mule he trained. In two weeks he called I went over in the arena at a good trot he said turn her left against the wall. In a split second she rolled back 180 never missed a beat. We had a good laugh its was my first roll back his first to watch on a mule. In 2 more weeks I picked her up got home saddled up and rode for the next 13 yrs. Sold her to a 65plus lady she love her as much as I did.

      Jeffery Schirm hey Jeff! Thanks on the vids. Here is the closest thing to an update: ruclips.net/video/juQVOEcUFEA/видео.html
      This is squirrel hunt on mules we did last month. I think you’ll see how good she’s doing. I can shoot off her back.

    My horse passed away not long ago. Always been a horse person. But. You know what, always been interested in the mule, constantly researching about them. These episodes have really shown me what it would be like breaking one. Could be up for the challenge. Never done it either maybe a mule will be my new challenge. Train her for hunting and packing too like my horse was. Really love your videos on my down time!

    Very curious question here. That stick you were going on and on about...if that was used on you (what else would you use it for if not for the mule)...would YOU work better??? Think of honey gets more flies than vinegar.

    She had to have been handled, her mane is roached and her tail has been shaved at the top. (I raise mules) I like your technique but it appears that she has been handled more
    then you are letting on.

    • @bearhuntingmagazine
      @bearhuntingmagazine  5 лет назад +2

      Wendy Bishop thanks for the comment. The gentleman who raised her was able to put a bridle on her and he had tied her a few, but she basically not messed with at all.
