    • @DestinyContractors
      @DestinyContractors  5 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah, I totally get that. I hate it when people try to cut corners just because it’s gonna sell soon or it is just a rental. This is on the market to be sold. However, this installation is so far beyond what is acceptable that it had to be fixed. I try and give people a good balance of Quality and affordability especially for things that are going to sell or rent.

      @stanleyhape8427 2 месяца назад

      I've had rental properties for decades.
      One thing I learned early on. Renters will put a beating on your properties. This sink wouldn't last one lease before collapsing into the cabinet.
      Nor would I allow this quality in any of my units.
      You would be amazed at how quick a seemingly normal person can destroy a brand new vanity.

Unfortunately, he does not live there any longer, and was not there when installation was completed. Payment was demanded immediately and he did pay for this. First of all contractors rarely have store fronts. Second, in our state, anyone could be a contractor, so there are so many and so much work that you can go on for years doing stuff like this and make lots of money. It makes it hard for everyone. You need to understand that there are contractors who do this kind of work even with the storefront and business cards. Just because someone has a lot of business capital to get started doesn’t mean that they know how to do the work.

    • @DestinyContractors
      @DestinyContractors  6 месяцев назад +1

      I had a couple other people from other countries noticed this as well. The electrical outlet is not supposed to be behind the sink for sure. They do allow a loophole for renovation. Not sure when that code came in. It is possible that there was not a sink here when the house was built. It may have been added later. Those renovations are supposed to get inspected, but rarely are. You also have to understand this is the wild west. There are areas in the county where you can build an entire house and not have to have a single inspection.

      I have seen a lot of comments like this. What I want everyone to understand is the new trend is to subcontract your work. Those subcontractors are rarely well vetted. It’s usually those people who do the bad work. When the homeowner complains the main contractor with the good reputation that they hired simply says that they’re not responsible for what their subcontractor does. Sometimes those subcontractors get fired. Sometimes not. That’s why I personally do all my own work. I am way too picky to hire someone to do it for me.
