In chennai, To convert normal cycle to rear gear fitted will be 2000 inclusive of labour charge. ( 7 speed shimano gear shifter) if front crank to be fitted with gear shifter it will be 3200. I converted my Atlas mtb. Absolutely no issues. Enjoy traveling long distances.

An electric kit will add wayyyy more comfort in comparison to additional gears. However, since I haven't tried any conversion kits myself, I don't have a first hand experience about the problems that could arise with it.
Yes I own a btwin rockrider 340 and it cost around 14999 and with accessories 20k It is 5 years old But the cycle quality and riding experience is fabulous 👌 Love your videos ❤
