Olu is the best offensive tackle in the nation, and a better human being even!!! He is gambling on himself, not talent wise he is great, but he wants to get his degree and be part of something special and believe me, he knows that we are going to great, or he would have went to the NFL, because he was the second rated tackle in the draft!!!! WE ARE
Overall I think our O-line is about to be dominant this year. I think our trench play overall on both sides is about to be really dominant. I love how people are saying our Defensive line is small and weak, they bout to find out.
I agree, our defensive line got bigger and stronger 💪 in the off season, and it's not always about size, leverage and gap control with the linebackers are important!!!! WE ARE
With my team The Chicago Bears having the 2nd and 3rd overall pick. We have Darnell Wright who is a beast we picked up last season for right tackle. We definitely need a left tackle. This would be a perfect pick for The Bears to really strengthen that offense line on both sides for next year. I would definitely draft him.
I wonder if he would be able to model his game more after Lane Johnson. His lateral movement and strength might be able to mimic Lanes unorthodox pass pro style and would allow him to use his athleticism to the fullest.
really interesting thought. Not super familiar with Lane Johnson's technique, though...does he color outside the lines with traditional blocking angles? Or is it something else?
@@ForTheBlogyHe kicks out really wide typically and allows pass rushers to contact him first. There's a really good video on it I copied and pasted for you. ruclips.net/video/Spe8MnfxHEs/видео.html
@@jayhunter176 So kinda similar to Andrew Thomas with the concept of trusting your feet and working from there (which really is the base of any great tackle play) but Andrew invites guys into his chest to bull him and then hugs and anchors working hands from there and he does circle technique with his outside hand but I don't know if I've ever seen him throw a full on ghost with it to get guys to throw their hands. Depends on the rep but I like the idea of throwing that hand out there as bait sometimes and playing that game especially against guys he has to face like Parsons in the division to manage that speed he gets on you with.
Giants fan what’s your take on olu playing right tackle? We need o line bad but left tackle is the only position on the line we’re set with, plus we just signed our left tackle to a massive contract so I doubt we would have olu playing left tackle for us
hard to say...for some guys it's like doing everything backwards. for other guys like Sewell in Detroit (LT in college, RT primarily in Det w/ Decker) it's no adjustment at all.
His reach really jumps off the screen in these clips. If I have one knock, it seems like Olu is too nice. quiet and shy to be a true mauler on the field. Does he have a mean streak?
This guy is the future protector of Sam Howell's blindside for the next 10+ years. We don't need a new QB. No QB can survive with an o-line that breaks down every play.
And, what the hell is your point 👉, literally????? Lol Michigan number 55, what the hell does that have to do with the best offensive tackle in the nation!!!!!!!! WE ARE
@@kevinchandler179 That must have flown over your head or you didn't watch the video. Fashanu, picked up and pancaked #55 from Michigan. It was a compliment. I was curious of his size and shared it.

Fashanu's unexpected return to college is the No. 1 reason why Drew Allar will succeed this season. No question.
Totally agree. Guys don't turn down first-round money. Fashanu did...and no one benefits more than Allar.

Lol
Fashanu is an insane talent that can galvanize the run and passing game this season.
Love it! Can't wait to watch Old this season!
Wow, I think this is the best tackle prospect I’ve see since AT would be crazy if my giants could get both of em if we don’t get Caleb/Maye
If I had to guess Bears will pick him up we have the 2nd and 3rd pick right now
@@carsonkelly4052 that’s cool rn I’m all in on MHJ dosnt looks like will be getting a qb this off-season😒

Fantastic analysis. The speed of the game is so fast, I do not notice the nuisances of the o-line. Thankyou for sharing!
Know what I think? Michigan in trouble at Happy Valley this year lol.

Probably the best pure pass protector in 3-4 years
As a Broncos fan, I would love to see him in Denver but great analysis bro just subbed and keep up the good work fr. This is some knowledge
thanks so much
Olu fashanu to the broncos!!! Lets get this guy!!! Has great pass protection ability.
Future Jet

The third play, he almost picks 55 up off the ground. Insane play strength.

Nah he’s top 5 pick 100% . Best T in college. Joe Alt doesn’t have this tape he just bigger but olu isn’t small

New QB lol
Welcome to the Redskins bro

Gross
Crazy how a man that big and strong can move so quickly. It's almost as if he false-starts every snap but he's just stepping so much faster.
Yep, just a gifted athlete. Scary thing is, he's at this level after only 9 college starts. Tip of the iceberg re: his potential
He is so damn smooth and calm and still runs people over, also he is a very smart kid and student of the game, you can tell!!!!
Michigan #55 is 317 lbs on the spring roster.
