Fashanu's unexpected return to college is the No. 1 reason why Drew Allar will succeed this season. No question.

Totally agree. Guys don't turn down first-round money. Fashanu did...and no one benefits more than Allar.

Olu is the best offensive tackle in the nation, and a better human being even!!! He is gambling on himself, not talent wise he is great, but he wants to get his degree and be part of something special and believe me, he knows that we are going to great, or he would have went to the NFL, because he was the second rated tackle in the draft!!!! Overall I think our O-line is about to be dominant this year. I think our trench play overall on both sides is about to be really dominant. I love how people are saying our Defensive line is small and weak, they bout to find out.

With my team The Chicago Bears having the 2nd and 3rd overall pick. We have Darnell Wright who is a beast we picked up last season for right tackle. We definitely need a left tackle. This would be a perfect pick for The Bears to really strengthen that offense line on both sides for next year. I would definitely draft him.

I wonder if he would be able to model his game more after Lane Johnson. His lateral movement and strength might be able to mimic Lanes unorthodox pass pro style and would allow him to use his athleticism to the fullest.

    • @ForTheBlogy

really interesting thought. Not super familiar with Lane Johnson's technique, though...does he color outside the lines with traditional blocking angles? Or is it something else?

@@jayhunter176 So kinda similar to Andrew Thomas with the concept of trusting your feet and working from there (which really is the base of any great tackle play) but Andrew invites guys into his chest to bull him and then hugs and anchors working hands from there and he does circle technique with his outside hand but I don't know if I've ever seen him throw a full on ghost with it to get guys to throw their hands. Depends on the rep but I like the idea of throwing that hand out there as bait sometimes and playing that game especially against guys he has to face like Parsons in the division to manage that speed he gets on you with.

hard to say...for some guys it's like doing everything backwards. for other guys like Sewell in Detroit (LT in college, RT primarily in Det w/ Decker) it's no adjustment at all.
