Fleckenstein Castle in Alsace France

Château de Fleckenstein is known since 1165 and is build on a sandstone. Only ruins remain from this until 1720 family owned castle. It has a very clever water transport system due to several cisterns.
This excursion was this first one after the first lock down due to Covid restrictions. It was a very summery hot day.
