The concept of a succinct recap video like this is great. Having the Roman Numerals at the top left of the screen is especially helpful,. It allows to Pause the video and comprehend. Also, I found I was pausing the video before the Roman numeral examples were shown on-screen so as I could figure things for myself and then as the video played out can confirm if I was correct or not. I find having a 12 note scale chart in front of me is always helpful. Kind Regards Anthony If you have time, I would love a recap of "Diatonic Chord Substitutions". (Its something that I learned in your 20 lesson videos)
Why do you choose to finger the strings separately as opposed to barring the 8th fret on the C7? Is it just a matter of preference or is there a benefit to fingering them separately when possible? Thanks for the video
Jazz voicings are usually done using 4 voicings. Bar chords double up some of the notes and that's not traditionally done in jazz. It's just how the style has evolved
