Nice catch bud. Had 4X 66 locos on a container train back in 2010s passing through leamington all EWS livery when DBS took over few years later had before new year in 2016 5 class 60 Colas heading back to bescot in Warwick.
Why have 4 90s on a consist like that? Is it perhaps an easier way of moving locos around to stick them on? Later on in the vid I'm impressed with that acceleration from a standing start.

The second pair had their pantographs lowered which means they were dead in tow. So the answer to your question is yes,
