Roman, you are a very skilled interviewer: probing questions covering important points AND you let him talk without interruption. Few interviewers practice this last point. Overall a well worthwhile film…well done all around.
Roman, I think it cannot be understated that the masterpiece element of this video is in fact the questions you asked Faizal! Every question you asked I felt was not only highly relevant but approached with creativity. Thanks for all the insights!
Seeing two of my favourite RUclipsrs in one video is such a blessing. I don’t know why, buy I kinda feel Faizal is even more relaxed and chilled than on his own channel. This has been so fun and informative. I wish you guys continue creating interviews from different perspectives on various topics. Great job guys!
Wow! I had never heard of Faizal before, but his style resonates with me. A photo doesn’t have to be technically perfect in the old school sense to have an artistic impact. I now have more confidence to go out and capture impressions of the moment. And I will invest in a dedicated 35 mm lens.
Quite interresting to listen to your intuitive discussions of motives, lenses and talk by walk. Very Impressive - two in one Package. Looking forward to the next one!
It's great to see images that both appeal and resemble a lot of my own work. Faizals words echo a lot of my own thoughts whilst out with a camera. You guys rock together in video. Keep the great images coming
Again Roman, I really have enjoyed your interview series of videos. Beyond the interview information, they have a human touch. We get to see that these photographers we admire are just people like the rest of us. That gives you the feeling that it's something you can do too!! One thing I notice when watching photographers in action: When shooting, some exclusively use the EVF, some both the EVF and LCD. others exclusively the LCD. I always wonder what drives that choice. Just something interesting I like to know. Thanks again for taking us along!
As a couple of comments mention before, the man was talking about his age when he was involved in the placement of the sculptures in that place. By the way, that’s a work of art by a famous sculptor called Eduardo Chillida, take a look at his work because he’s great. Home you liked Madrid and enjoyed it, it’s my hometown and I really loved to see it in your vídeos.
Interesting to see another photographer perspective. Except, I love shooting umbrellas, and the whole time I kept yelling, damn another colorful one, shoot, u missed it, shoot! 😂😂😂. I wish I was there that day. 😊
Love the way you instruct with informal interview walks. I hope you get back in spades what you give out, Roman. Wil save up for your book. I want to give you a shout out to a favourite of mine, here in Australia. From Melbourne, a great street photography city.... Adrian Whear. Please check him out. I live in rural Victoria and travel 4 hours by train down to Melbourne just to do street photography. Cheer, mate
Here i am in rainy England thinking i'm going to watch 2 of my favourite youtubers in sunny Spain...and it's raining over there as well. I just want some sunshine in my life lol Great video btw, as usual
Great video, loved discovering Faisal's photography. A lot of the colour stuff reminded me a bit of Saul Lester. I really liked that black and white photo with several people in looked like Indonesia?
He was actually speaking in Spanish, trying to explain that he was very young ( 19 years old) when he helped to put the structure in that place. He's very proud of it.
Just bought your Little Book, looks brilliant, will be digesting over the coming weeks. Have you any plans for some workshops in the future please? Regards Jay
Very enjoyable and well made video. In addition to the interesting conversation, I thought the video was beautifully color-graded considering it looked like a dank grey day. Would you mind sharing if you used specific LUTS, or was it all manual? Thanks for the great video!
The two photography RUclipsr goats gathered together to dissect styles. Legendary.
The Spanish man was saying that he was 19 years old when the sculpture was put in that place.
My two top RUclips photographers in one video. What a blast. I'm already looking forward to part 2 - don't make us wait too long - please

Faizal is dope and a staple of modern street photography. It’s interesting to see how his channel shows the complete evolution of his work

I wish you'd come to Girona but I cannot wait to see your's and Faizal's photos from Japan. I bet it's gonna be so good.

Fantastic video thanks for that greetings from Busselton in Western Australia
I fully agree about longer focals, its simpler composing with longer focal lenses
Loving this series!

Loves these. Keep doing what you’re doing!
Nice!
love it
I can't believe seeing Fraizal in Roman's video!
Grrreat series.
Luv that series!
Great video, loved discovering Faisal's photography. A lot of the colour stuff reminded me a bit of Saul Lester. I really liked that black and white photo with several people in looked like Indonesia?
Pocket 3 with the two mics is amazing
He was actually speaking in Spanish, trying to explain that he was very young ( 19 years old) when he helped to put the structure in that place. He's very proud of it.
Nice interview !!! I wasn't familiar with Faizal.
Just bought your Little Book, looks brilliant, will be digesting over the coming weeks. Have you any plans for some workshops in the future please? Regards Jay
In Japan!!!???
I'm so excited about that as a Japanese photographer.
I see Faizal, I click. Period.
Very enjoyable and well made video. In addition to the interesting conversation, I thought the video was beautifully color-graded considering it looked like a dank grey day. Would you mind sharing if you used specific LUTS, or was it all manual? Thanks for the great video!
my favo photography 😍
Faizal shows his two fingers and it is definitely for Prabowo - Gibran :))
That shot at 1:58 is super dope.
edit: they're all dope. haha
Great video!
What camera bag is Faizal carrying? ☺️
Are you two releasing a Madrid album together? Would be great to see the results of your photo walk!
that bus had no intention of slowing down. be safe!
An englishman talking to an american man in a spanish city about using a japanese camera to take dutch angles.
And intriguing angles they are too.
do you take photos with your sunglasses on? Do they interfere with your ability to see the lcd at all?
0:24 that reaction 😂
Hi Roman. Do your presets work for the S24 Ultra?
I know this isn't a travel channel but do you have any places (areas, restaurants, sights etc..) you love in Madrid? I'll be there in a couple months!
I meet him in London in late 2022
The guy started speaking french for no reason 14:20 so funny Haha. Great vid, i'm happy 🎉
Hi, does anyone know what camera strap is Faizal? Thanks
Faisal is mr cool 😎
Roman took the UK weather to Spain 😂
For a second part: how he decides to choose his zoom lens or his 35mm f2?
Is it just me or anyone also waiting for the part 2?
Fair weather photographer 😂
Roman, Faizal...where is Eren?
Could he copy Sarah Van Rij any harder? Hack, and it's blatant.
Another sarahvanrij copy cat but at least he’s doing a good job.
