Underwater daleks, really frigging cool, a new perspective on daleks I do wander what hell they're having actually seeing anything underwater with those blue eyes and narrow scope of vision
Love the enthusiasm, I assume they’d have to switch their vision configuration perhaps to get a more accurate result. Then again scanners and sensors would probably be more beneficial for them.
@@theentity5201 thank you it’s really appreciated, I do need to do an overhaul on the model especially with the ID’s because they’re not changeable as of yet.
@@shadowsteve0194 It's mentioned in some other, older novels that they do have specific marine casings for underwater combat too. Sensor and visual systems on those are surely more optimized than these standard model casings would be.
Im not sure if youd be willing but i have a suggestion for a project, not sure if your be interested as it would be adapting an existing video Timelash from what ive been able to gather is a story that was originally intended as a dalek story And looking at it, it seems pretty obvious this was the case, the androids were obviously daleks and the borad - davros, the timelash obviously part of the daleks time corridor, even the androids speech parterns are reminiscent of dalek voices It seems they got 2 dalek stories at the same time and they chose the stronger story feom what ive been able to gather And with a few lighting changes and inserted cg daleks in place of the androids It might be fun to see what it was originally intended to be
Seems like a fairly large project, I must admit it’s been a while since I’ve seen timelash so I’d have to rewatch it, but now that you mention it, it does have the makings of a Dalek story 😂 I might consider looking into it at some point so don’t consider the idea off the table, it’s more of a question of time and resources at the moment
@@shadowsteve0194 I know it would take time and resources, I draw myself so I know the time things can take but thanks for taking the time to consider the idea
@@snakedaemongaming6590 no problem, definitely interested in making some original stuff so it’s definitely intresting to try out a scene along those lines
Absolutely magnificent animation, love it ❤❤ well done 👍 Have you read the war of the Daleks by John Peel? He described marine daleks for under water missions shaped like torpedoes.
@@davidrenwickjunior I'll have to check it out, I definitely want to give the spider daleks a chance to appear in my animations one day, just got to find the right inspiration.
@@shadowsteve0194 there’s a big finish trailer showing the time war spider daleks, but an original design by Wayne Peters is on RUclips also, his is my personal favourite realisation of a spider dalek so far. In war of the Daleks page 7, it describes a Strider as 10 times the size of a regular dalek, lacking the usual base, in its place are 8 long flexible legs and bulbous bodies that housed 4 cannons firing ahead and below. Spiders described as only slightly larger than a regular dalek but the same 8 legged arrangement as the strider. Page 87 describes a marine dalek as torpedo shaped with the eye stalk at the point with a gun stick and grappling arm parallel to the streamlined body and a reactor at the base to propel it through water.
@@davidrenwickjunior sound like really cool concepts, personally I like the spider Daleks being larger in comparison to the original, but all of these are great ideas for potential appearances, one day they shall be made and make an appearance in an animation 👀👀
Don’t worry I understand what you mean, the next one will be using a lot more smoothing techniques, however I do love jittery Daleks so there’s going to be a mix of both
Love!!
Omg thank you very much ❤️❤️
Awesome! You really nailed the dark atmosphere of the Viscoid ocean and Dalek ship! I really someone would animate the whole War Master series.
Glad to see we had the same vision and that you enjoyed the final result. Who knows, maybe one day the series will be animated 👀

Woha, that was amazing! 🤩
Thank you, glad you enjoy it, I’d recommend have a look at the breakdown video as it’s fairly interesting how it was made
This is brilliant - top class work !!!
thank you very much.
Superb! With Daleks underwater in this way, you’ve succeeded, in my view, in “defamiliarising” one of the most recognisable images ever.
Thank you, that's amazing to hear
@@shadowsteve0194 You’re most welcome.
This is absolutely top-tier animation

Thank you very much, I have heard about the daleks shaped like torpedoes it's definitely a fun concept.
@@shadowsteve0194 there’s a couple of examples online but not many. There’s also spider and strider Daleks mentioned in the same book

Thank you, glad you enjoyed.
Fucking hell I was literally planning to do this one soon lmao. You did a good job and I look forward to what you do in the future.
Cheers, I think the next project won’t be what anyone’s expecting and will be quite different from the rest
❤❤❤
This is amazing 🫶🤪

I absolutely love this!
My only critique is the animation is extremely rigid

Can I ask what did you use to make the dalek voices?
My voice isn’t heard in this one, however I did use a ring modulator like the one in the show to recreate the scene to make the ears accurate
We need an episode with Daleks under water

You couldn’t be more right
Hi i just wanted to know can i make a reaction video to this video ill credit you in the description.
That’s amazing thank you, honestly I’ve seen your videos before so the fact you’re doing a reaction of mine is really cool, go right ahead 😁😁
cool also i wanted to one day voice a dalek in your animations one time.
Let me know when you make that video as well, I’d love to see it
Sure will do.
