Diana is a natural Contralto, which is rare and the lowest of female vocalists' registers.....she is also polyphonic ( able to sing multiple notes simultaneously ).......she reminds us that there are so many talented performers from the "world music" genre,.....but she is unique among them.......she was abused and abandoned as a child, was MUTE.....raised in a Russian orphanage ........Her adoptive Mum used singing and voice lessons to help Diana overcome the trauma of her earliest years.......

And the spectator has only to "helplessly" allow her to pull herself out of the zone of the already familiar world vocal - into the zone of her element ... into the zone of Diana's musical tornado ...! And this "harpoon" is able to carry not only a man, but also a whale into Diana's element ...!!

@@maiklbonin5145 For 7 years I have been searching for a word that could describe Diana's vocal abilities - and failed miserably. So I invented one "chocolateysmoothpower" vocals. It's like sitting in a remote log cabin in the mountains in mid winter. In your hands you have the best cup of hot chocolate you have ever tasted! After that it would be impossible to feel cold again! Basically, once you hear Diana singing any song, no other singer you listen to afterwards sounds as good as they did before Diana!! She is on a very special level, she is a very special young lady that the whole world should hear - maybe one day they will!

They even had her sing a different song, she chose a French song, but it was too late. Tons of people called in to complain that she should be allowed to continue, but by the rules it was too late.

This is one of my favorite Diana performances.
Diana stated that singing this song is easy for her because it suits her voice so well.
I don't think Diana had the vocal ability to sing very high at that point.
She has been working hard and her upper register has improved a lot lately.
And I believe that it will continue to improve.
I hope you watched the original video of the "2019 You are Super show".
Her stage presence is out of the charts. Incredible performance. You won't want to miss it.

One video of Diana's, in my sight, is a total masterpiece the like of which I don't remember ever seeing before in my long life. It's a must see for anyone that loves singing with unending emotion. The background of the song is essential to know. The title of the song is "Ornery (or "Fastidious" or "Finicky") Horses". The song has nothing to do with horses in reality - the horses are being used as a metaphor for life. The author of song is begging the horses to slow down (he is aware he is approaching death), but, at the same time he is whipping them along (his chaotic lifestyle) - he knows that his lifestyle is taking him to an early death, however, he is unable to change it.....the composer of the song, Vladimir Vysotsky, was a singer-songwriter, poet, and actor as well as an alcoholic & drug addict and died in 1980 at the age of 42. ruclips.net/video/lu8iW9BcWmY/видео.html . You should check out a song called "Waiting Between Worlds" by Zack Hemsey. It's about the space between living, death, trajedy, unexpected circumstances. It is an AMAZING song and video. The artist is a classical composer who has worked for NPR, the movie Inception, Game of Thrones, but has a whole (hard to describe) Cinematic Rap career? He brings his movie trailer music into hiphop music. The lyrical journey of Waiting Between Worlds is one of the most poetic pieces of music i have ever heard. Worth a reaction ESPECIALLY as a councilor!
