Great reaction! She was 15 when she sang Human. The following performance was from a Russian show that aired last fall, and ran for 9 weeks. There were 9 singers who were also the judges and critiqued each other. There were 9 genres of music they had to perform over the course off the show. Thus Diana sang in many different styles.
Diana Ankudinova is 18 years old in this video, singing a very unique cover of Elvis Presley's Can't Help Falling In Love. She's a contralto, and a commanding stage presence.

Diana (dee-ah-na) was abandoned at a bus stop in the winter with a broken collarbone by her abusive mother at the age 3 and placed in an orphanage, diagnosed with cognitive impairment. Her adoptive mother had her enroll in singing lessons to help with some speech problems due to abuse and neglect. Her singing talent was immediately noticed and the rest, as they say, is history. She started singing from a young age as a way to overcome a speech problem caused by the trauma and abuse she suffered at the hand of her mother, who abandoned her at an early age with an injured collarbone on the streets of Russia. Diana Ankudinova was only 16 when this performance took place. This cover of "Human" by Rory Charles Graham, better known as Rag'n'Bone Man's, now belongs to Diana and it really demonstrates that Diana Ankudinova has a true contralto sound which is a rare female voice type. In particular, the tone quality, timbre, the roundness of her sound, her resonance, and the depth of her voice define her as a "dramatic contralto", the rarest of the rare type of contralto. Diana is also a real polyphonic singer which in itself is also a rare talent and is a vocal technique that creates two different tones at the same time which makes it sound like two different voices at the same time. Diana does this through the resonance which she creates by using the airflow through the lungs, throat, mouth, and tongue placement. This polyphonic sound is why some people mistakingly think she is using a voice synthesizer or vocoder to manipulate and alter her sound, or there's another voice singing off stage, or she is singing over a pre-recorded track, which she is not.
To get an idea of Diana's vocal development and progression, I recommend you listen to these performances. There are a lot of other live performances but I think these are the best representation that shows her vocal progress and I would recommend them in the following order:

Also, on average a majority of female singers usually don't reach their full vocal maturity until they are around 22 to 25 years of age so I am looking forward to what Diana will sound like when she does reach her full vocal maturity because when she does, along with more years of vocal training plus several more years to hone her live-on-stage performance skills, there will be no doubt that Diana Ankudinova will be a wonder to behold and a vocal force to be reconded with.
Also, This competition was called the "ShowMaskGoOn". and the "Can't Help Falling in Love" Elvis Presley cover was judged by a panel that is all professional singers in their own right and they compete and judge each other. By the way, the judge on the top row that stands up is a famous opera singer that's well known in Russia and the blond woman in the red dress that looks totally shocked and puts both hands on the top of her head knows she has to compete against Diana Ankudinova. And finally, Diana won this competition.

Diana has the ability to play with her tones, her tamber, and in many songs she mixes her tones more than here, where she showcased her deeper overtones. Her earlier songs include Wicked Game, Blizzard, Rechenka, and even Yodel Time (she was only 13, her first real appearance which caused a scandal as the judges didnt turn, the winners were pre-determined). She then entered last year (she was 18) a show call "the Show Must Go On", where she competed with 9 other professional singers, who judged each other. Lovely reaction! I would suggest following up with two other performances from this talent show for kids: Wicked Game, which she did the same year, and Rechenka from the year earlier, before moving on to more recent performances.
Prepare to be blown away every time you see and hear her. She was 16 or so there.

This is the most notably lowest sounding of the 15yr old Dianas early competition Recordings but you need to here Wicked game or Rechenka she is capable of singing as a contralto and higher... She has superb control and stage presence.. shes still only 18 and has won another major TV entertainers competition.
You will have to get used to goosebumps shes got a vocal range of three octaves and superb control..

Some corrections:There is no evidence she was ranked as best female pop singer in 2020 (or any year) by Ranker.com. Diana did not win 2 consecutive years on You Are Super. She won in 2018. Two singers won in 2019 (tied), Anastasia Simoganova and Denberel Oorzhak. What Diana won was the Grand Prix. She was not put up for adoption at age three. She was put in an orphanage at around 3 1/2 years old. She was placed in foster care (guardianship) with Irina Ponik at around 4 1/2 years old. Diana was never legally adopted. Diana got a standing ovation at the Russian Voice - Kids. But no evidence it was 5 minutes long. Spanish-speaking people will be impress by her Me Voy performance, but will not say with "perfect" pronunciation. Maybe some words. But, I will agree with you that she is an amazing singer with a wonderful and unique voice.

I lost count of your "wows") This is a normal reaction to Diana (aka "Queen of goosebumps"). She is a very talented Russian singer with unique voice. Diana won a number of Russian song competitions. The last one was last autumn. This performance is fantastic, since Diana demonstrated here a lot of facets of her vocal talent. Thank you for such sincere and emotional reaction. Btw Diana has her own account on YT containing many videos with her performances starting from early childhood.
