@@christian53050 She already has exceptional range for a dramatic contralto and will add to it, she has years yet before her voice is fully developed. Which when you think about it is just freaky considering she is already jaw dropping spectacular.

Here are three reasons why Diana doesn't sound human.
First, she is a dramatic contralto, which is the absolute rarest type of female voice. It allows her to sing very dramatic/powerful, very (I mean VERY) deep, very dark, very rich.
Second, she has a spectacular larynx. She won the genetics lottery, and it's been called the Eighth Wonder of the World.
Third, she is polyphonic, which means she can produce multiple harmonics within her voice at the same time. This is what allows her to sound like two people at once. (more below)
When you add all that up you basically get a person who creates her own auto-tune. She doesn't need electronic auto-tune. She IS her own auto-tune.
And the effect when you hear her is totally mind-blowing. It's like she's singing right through you, like a sword straight into your soul. Literally NOBODY else on the planet has a voice like hers. She's not one in a million, she's one in seven billion.
Injuries at adolescence, fracture of the clavicle, compression of the cell, which contributed to the premature development of the larynx - this is not a victory in the lottery, and even more so it is not connected with genetics and with a miracle. Such is the coincidence, early vocal lessons helped to maintain the mobility of the larynx, the elasticity of the vocal apparatus.
And I will not love Diana less because she is not an alien with some other genetics, quite the opposite - even more, for how much she had to endure, go through the tests, temper herself in order to be reborn as a Phoenix

The Russian language from my limited understanding doesnt use the terms a or is..
Human is very personal to her...possibly because of her negative early childhood and also that unique polyphonic contralto voice marking her out.
She only has to hear a song a couple of times and if she likes the feel she can memorise it.
However without a good English speaker tutoring her she doesnt always get a English word or pronounciation.
This song shows this at a couple of points but it doesnt undermine her voice as an instrument or her dramatic ability.
The Russian music business seems a little insular and is controlled by a small number of people, so she has to work hard to develope as an artist....hopefully she can get to mix with performers and writers of different backgrounds and who can inspire here to develope her own style to best show off her unique sound. She seems a genuinely talented and very human young lady...and still only 18.
Seeing her Rechenka and Wicked game first i was immediately reminded artistically of Kate Bush but obviously with a very different sound pallet. 😉🤗
@@MattFarkas There are different versions as well because Diana has performed most of these songs several times on camera at different venues. I really think that her Dernier Danse is the most consistent song, it rarely has any noteworthy changes no matter where she performs it.

Doubtful this will be seen..... Diana's late voice coach stated her range is D3 D6. Her working range in can't help falling in love is C3 to Bb5. There's been a few years between the coaches statement and the performance last Sept. She now has a wonderful new voice coach and has been working diligently on vocal range and interpretation of songs. The new voice coach I believe was a former student of Olga, she passed from covid. Diana keeps getting better and better.

Fun trivia: Diana actually learned to sing before she could talk. Other reactors have called her a "larynx manipulator". But that is only part of Diana's artistry. I grew up in the 1960s and I listened to Cher a lot. No insult to Cher, but Diana is on a whole other level. She was 15 in this video. She is 18 now and much stronger. On Saturday she will release a new song, a cover of Elvis's Can't Help Falling in Love. Her performance will drop your jaw to the floor. Seriously.

Diana's 15 here and in the past has said this is the easiest song for her to perform since it's closest to her natural tessitura or natural singing voice. Her voice is even richer, more sophisticated and more spectacular now at 18.
Diana's working range of voice is between D3 - D6 (contralto - mezzo soprano). Such a voice is rare in adult women. This is a unique phenomenon for girls.

Probably not the best introduction to Diana for Lily, as it's virtually all sung in her lower register. I know you've already done "Derniere Danse", "Wicked Game" & "Rechenka", but, they all give a better idea of Diana's versatility and range - it might be interesting to see Lily's take on "Rechenka" for instance.
It should also be bourn in mind, that in these performances, Diana was aged 14/15 (now 18) and her voice has developed considerably over the last 2-3 years and will continue to develop for several more years. Не люблю парные реакции. Два профессионала оживленно разговаривали, вместо того, чтобы внимательно слушать очень короткую песню. И пропустили самые важные вещи.
А самое существенное здесь - не низкий тон ( не такой уж низкий, на самом деле), а его насыщенность, чистота, идеально ровный звук и в низкой, и средне-низкой тесситуре. Это вообще мало кто может воспроизвести в таком качестве - во всем мире... Поставил, конечно, лайк. Внимание к Диане я все-таки ценю.

Два профессионала решили, что Анкудиновой надо петь в стиле "рок кантри" , ковбойские песни. Но в этой песне они так и не узнали, насколько она способна переходить с басовых нот до высоких.

Diana's normal working range is 3.5 octaves; she said she could go higher, but teachers still discourage her from fully loading her vocal cords at this age. Nevertheless, she often tests her highs, for example, in Take On Me, As Your Voice, I Call You Russia, Into the Sky. Diana's high pitch sounds very nice, smooth, silky. I love most of the songs I've heard Diana sing, including this one, but this is easily my least favorite. A tad too repetitive.
I can see that - she's fantastic as always, but this one didn't hit me as hard as the others I've watched.
Not sure if this is the best introduction song for Diana. There are many others that show a lot more of her range and technique.

It's funny to see how professional singers are jealous of Diana's voice. To a teenager 15 years old, as in this video. For some reason, most of the negative comes from opera singers. Can't hide envy. They studied music most of their lives, and they sing worse than Diana. A natural diamond, even if it is not processed, is still a diamond, but a cobblestone, no matter how you polish it, will never become a diamond :)
