I've played with the 4th Gen (Photo) and 5th Gen (Video). Put SSDs in all of them. For me tho, my 1st love is the mini. Beautiful hunk of metal that just feels amazing in your hand. Of course, upgraded battery and 256GB SSD. I've also got an original iPod somewhere. Think it works too, but I'll probably just toss it.

@@WillM. I may let you have it. Let me look for it. Have you the original firewire adapter for it? It's needed, since it doesn't take the USB type.
