I wish for another series like the original 3 CODs and their add-ons with the main 3 allied factions on the main fronts (eastern front, western front, and the pacific front well not really a front more of invasion of islands for the pacific) and played like your just another cog in the war machine with close buddies who die in the war (though not as close buddies as the main protagonist and Z in COD WW2) but you don't dwell on their death for too long before entering combat again, along with the introduction of less cutscenes and like in COD 1.

My first game played on my old and silver PS2 slim when at the same time I used to play COD in 2004. Damn I've really loved war games! Soviet campaign was one of the most intense in my opinion but also british and american roles were vitals.

Not sure where this would fit.... In US Navy, while on a medical limited duty status. The work center where I was assigned had a huge "paint locker" (Larger than 2 40 ft cargo shipping containers) full of out of date paints. They had been trying to figure out how to dispose of it as hazardous waste for years. I decide to get creative and make a full list of everything in the paint locker. Then I call up the DRMO (essentially the Navy's garage sale center) office and ask about getting them to take it. Nope. So I start looking up some regulations on disposal of unwanted materials. 3 More phone calls and I had it SOLD to a paint recycling company. Navy got a nice check, the stuff hauled off and I got a Commanding Officer's letter of commendation, while my official job was to sit in a chair and do nothing.
I remember clicking the right mouse button to zoom in for the first time when playing this back in the day.. The screen didn't zoom in a bit and the cursor didn't get bigger with the rifle in the same place...OMG!!! I was looking down the sights of the weapon!!!!! Other than with sniper rifles this was pretty much never seen before COD1. It was mind blowing and all of my friends and myself hoped it would be the future of FPS, and it was.
