  • A big tear down but a disappointing amount from it, Still a fun melt and great bars for the stack. Aluminum Bronze is such an awesome gold color I just love it. Now sit back relax and check out todays video and I hope to see you all next Friday 😁.
Now Guys if you Feel like supporting the channel it wont cost you a cent as you can Simply just donate some of your time. By just by allowing the ads to play through this will help out a lot and that’s how I make a bit extra revenue and the good thing is more revenue means more giveaways and more treats for the dogs👊🏻😄. A better way to support the channel is play one of my playlists on your computer before you walk away from it and let it play through that really helps as well but don’t ever feel as though you need to watch the ads if you don’t want to simply skip them and move into the video it’s completely up to you and I understand if you don’t have the time to do so👌🏻😁👍🏻.

HOW I MIRROR FINISH A BAR
I start with an 80 grit flap disc on my angle grinder then I use my drill with 50 mm round sanding discs . I start with 150 grit then go through the following Grits 240-400-800 Then once I get to the following Grits I use a small squirt of WD-40 1200-1500-2000-2500-3000. The WD40 helps to lubricate the discs and stops the sanding disk binding up with the metal powder . Then after that I use my buffer wheel on my bench grinder to get a perfect mirrored finish on it.

It is efficient and quick, also pretty fun. About the rest, I have no clue what you are on about.

LOL The thing I will agree with you on is for big machine there wasn't a lot of usable metal in it. One last thing I am glad you don't hurt the rodents when you catch them, they maybe a bit annoying but there just living there lives. 👍👍👍👍👍

Oh, and I love the copper, aluminum alloy you made. It totally looks like a gold bar. Never saw that before.

Check out his back catalogue of videos, he's maded a number of good videos of this alloy, and another even golder looking one called (fittingly enough) Nordic gold. I love it when BigD stretches out from just copper and aluminum melting.

He even made a copper-steel alloy and some German Silver alloy as well!

The beauty in pure bars of metal beyond their appearance is that you are holding a distilled hunk of material that was fused in the core of massive stars.

Can't wait to hear more about that shipping container - the plaque looks amazing! Really interesting that there isn't more aluminum in that washing machine - a quality appliance given the amount of stainless in it! Great to see the pups and really fun video! 👍

Goodness, that is hot! In my neck of the woods, we just had one of the coldest nights. We set a record with -40F (Interestingly enough, that is also -40C).
Seriously, I hope you never stop making videos. They are so fun and entertaining.
