For me it's a no brainer signing. Despite Kudus being better on the right his signing upgrades our left side eventually and in the meantime gives us the best chance of covering Saka and sustaining a title challenge (if that isnt over after tonight).
My only worry is if the injury and return to full fitness takes longer than expected and we don't sign anyone. We don't need another Odegaard situation late in the season.
I've never witnessed such a no-brainer Arsenal transfer like Kudus in a while. This Arsenal team is far too structured, which is a good and a bad thing, but the bad thing can easily be rectified with players like Kudus added into the squad, players who play with no fear and have quick football brains and dont mind taking charge when needed with a bit of selfishnesa
Now they are Worth 80m,makes no sense, let's go for Omar marmoush a versatile forward worth like 60m negotiable, Cunha is also worth around 70m and wolves paid 44m for him from Atletico Madrid two seasons ago again,I think something is wrong with Arsenal's market strategy.I believe arsenal can win the league or at least a trophy this season if only they will take the January transfer market seriously.Arsenal needs a striker and a versatile winger that's All.
Some of the decisions have been absolutely stupid arteta & edu have wasted a lot money in same area left back centre back and goal keepers when we needed top players like Kudas guimaraes Xavi Simmons and Mac allister all theee guys went for no more than 35 mil 2 seasons ago
Kudus, Timber, Martinez… Ajax players who are highly self motivated, regardless of the performance of the team, they aren’t affected. Can’t say the same for Antony Onana and De ligt
I would have bought him last year. I think he went for 35 million and we got Kai for 60. With some creativity you get both of them either we sell Eddie, which we should’ve done or restructure the deal in a way that makes sense for everybody and get them both.
One thing i like about Kudus is, with him, you get a CM, RMF, RWF, LMF, LWF, CF AMF.... you get a complete package to rely on... So spending 90m on him is a cool bargain unlike players that are monotonous in only one role. Kudus is a package.....
Kudus is the closest thing to Saka there is. I believe from what I saw from that Liverpool game, their play style is very similar. I know we won’t go for him because these clowns at west ham inflated his valuation because they know we (or other teams) want him. It feels illegal that that’s possible. Then you got someone like man city undervaluing savio more than double but that’s another conversation.
I class Kudus as an unstoppable runner (aka Grealish). He can carry the ball anywhere and everywhere but it's not something that fills our primary need. We need clear G+A threat. Unstoppable creator and unstoppable goalscorer. Someone like Wirtz/Musiala.
I thought of this channel while watching that first half from Kudus😂 Spot on, he could cover for Saka during the injury, then move into the 10, odegaard 8 and Rice 6. Or on the left wing
This is a great video. There is something to be said about a team that is comprised of legitimate starters (or world class players) throughout. Yes, you've got a better chance at success. But you are also able to better "protect" your assets.
For all you saying blah blah we cant spen d 85 million on kudus, kudus was topping charts with this westham team last season , imagine how better he would get if he came to arsenal , goodluck getting better quality less than that price point this window
When you were talking about, needing someone who can create something out of nothing. A maverick, I instantly thought of ryan cherki both footed and can play AM LW & RW james.
We’ve gone big multiple times in January, we just didn’t manage to get the target we wanted. To say ‘would Arsenal go big’ would be quite ingenious as you put it!
Love the videos James! I honestly think Arsenal are happy with being a top 4 team. We all know if we wanted to really push for the title we would sign someone in Jan. think if we don’t it just confirms are ambitions!
@@ezigwe No, I just think we need to buy a Striker as thats what we are lacking. dont know why your speaking about Mudryk totally irrelevant to my comment.
@@perrymundle974 The only way we sign someone of the sufficient quality in Jan is to pay way over the odds. Not paying stupid money doesn't automatically mean we don't have ambitions for the title. The same argument was presented when we refused (quite rightly) to compete with Chelsea for Mudryk. If you think owners are happy with just the top 4 you haven't been paying attention for the last 3 seasons including this one
So you think paying 90 million for kudus is over paying? Or if we could get Gykores for around the same money is over paying?. But we should wait until the summer. How much would they be worth in the summer than if we don’t get them now?
I think the major point you might have missed is the amount of minutes outside of league games. Lately it’s been increasing - both international football and Champions League. And Saka has been a solid starter for England squad for a long time already. So, it also should be considered when comparing the amount of minutes played in the respective age
Saka tackles back and Salah doesn't do that recently as Slot wants to use him purely forward. Hes 32 years old, manager sorted him out. Salah was playing on the bench for Chelsea at his age
I know what you tried to do with the salah and hazard comparison, but everyone knows hazard was lazy and didnt look interested anymore. Maybe compare with players like ronaldo or giggs? Also i feel saka knows when to "rest during games," like messi does if you know what i mean.. unlike players like jesus martinelli and rice who just keep sprinting all game even if we are 2_0 up
While I totally agree, we need Kudus to protect the rest of the front line, I don't see us buying a big winger period. Arsenal just don't shell out like that on a winger. I would absolutely love to see that change, but there are rumors that we're right up against our FFP threshold, but who knows. Here's to hoping that the club make a move, but I don't see it.
Agree with your assessment… however I believe Arteta is an extremely stubborn man….he’s also got the team playing a predicable style which the opposition can read a mile away….we need to re-enforce the squad with Lookman, Kudus, and a killer striker like Osihmen / Gykeros and go back to playing like 22/23.
That Lens game last season when Saka had to sit down to get subbed that's when they should have started looking for someone to help him with the work load, instead they bought more defenders.
James I like your vids mate but the major argument is how salah and saka play. Saka is asked to defend and press . Salah isn’t . He uses all his energy going forward and the reason he’s always free is a result of him belong allowed to stand in space . Saka is asked to do to much . This is on the manager . It’s about the intensity of the minutes you play not how many mins
Not why Saka needs Kudus but Arsenal needs Kudus. Wake up James. You are one of the many Arsenal fans who's afraid of not brave enough to say it out that Arteta is not the right manager for Arsenal FC, unless of course you guys are just using your platforms for the money, no problem then change your narrative and stop behaving as if you care about the team's success because Arsenal can never be successful under Arteta, the Edu saga just cleared my doubts.
Funny thing is Bournemouth will ask for Caicedo type fee if we go in for him, remember what happened few years ago in Jan window? Lol. Bournemouth have a chance of finishing in European spot for first time ever, and Semenyo is their star attacker. I do not know why people even bother mentioning him as someone we should go in for in January.
@@chy.0190 i will argue that bournemouth made a couple of great signings in the summer and he is not their stand out man but i fancy him a very goodsystem player but we have alot of system players in the team and yes they will ask for caciedo level money release him and at that price point kudus is obviously the better choice , they sold solanke for 60million
Arsenal’s business strategy is terrible. They’re too stingy, which makes them miss out on good deals and overpay for players later. They take too long to buy, and they’re bad at predicting how players will perform.

i had been saying this, we have been rinsing saka since hes made his debut. How has it been 5 years and its still the same? The club genuinely are damaging this young star
Love the content James, kudus would be a great addition, I will say I don’t agree with resting Saka, if people want to claim he’s world class then he needs to play week in week out, if he’s injury prone or needs to be rested then I don’t think that means he’s world class, just my opinion
As much as I’d love Arsenal to go out and make a marquee signing in the January transfer window, I doubt it’s going to happen. The major problem we have is everyone knows Saka is out between 2-4 months (probably closer to 4 months) and that will add many millions of pounds to the price asked for any player we show interest in. Throw in the fact that it’s midway through the season and NOBODY will want to lose their best players (particularly teams like West Ham) and it’s nigh on impossible to think we’ll bring anyone in. I can see Fabio Viera being recalled from his loan and us sticking with what we have. I feel Arteta has accepted the title is gone and will go for broke in summer window. Might be wrong, but logically I don’t think I am.
Point made about minute played. We need to realize that these guys train with as much intensity as they play. It’s more of how they are managed after games
We need 2 quality players this January. A winger or striker and a creative midfielder. Note: If we do not sign a quality winger or striker this January, we will go trophyless this season
I see what you mean James, but does arteta demand too much tactically. I’m just scared if we get someone like kudus or an exciting winger and they can’t really express themselves
Captain Scarlet is a talent and career killer: Ben White needed surgury before the season started but Arteta kept playing him. Rice had a broken toe but Arteta made him take corners. He has run Saka into the ground. Arteta MUST be replaced.
people should stop justifying the Arteta PR the Man has been at the club 5 years without the EPL trophy or champions league title lets get real my man and a new man at liverpool wins it shame! its shame to Arsenal my club!
The 85 million release clause for Kudus isn't valid until the summer so it will take a bid of over 100 million to get him in January also he won't be sold now Bowen is injured
I would love to have kudus but Arsenal has a history of not spending on top players when really needed and yet kronkies tend to say " get excited " so unfortunately I'm not holding my breath, hopefully im wrong.
cant believe we still talking about a player who wanted and waited for Edu and Arteta to come get hum at 35mil now we the fanbase want to pay 85/100 mill for Kudus. My Q? is if arteta didn't want or buy him at 35mil what makes us think arsenal will spend a 100mil in Jan . Plyers like Kolo Muani are available he can play across the front three and can score and take on player he also has a pass too
We can all dream, but these owners don't have the ambition, and this manager has proven his inability for years now to get our attack to the required level to win a major.
Saka needs cover for sure. Wingers have to work a lot offensively and defensively, especially with the way Arteta uses them. We need 2 players at every position and Arteta needs to rotate more. Saka's workload is not sustainable and I'm worried that Arteta will ruin him.
We should be jumping on the Dani Olmo situation as well. He can cover both Saka and Odegaard and is a real threat to defences. Performs in big games and is feasible. Other than that I would aim for a world class striker (Isak) and if we can’t get him in January we wait till summer. Another beast in midfield would be good as we sold Xhaka and didn’t get anyone to replace his role fully so an engine like Ederson from Atalanta would be good. I also think a world class left winger is needed such as Kvara or Leao as they are much more consistent than Martinelli and Trossard, who haven’t been very good this season.
First of all not happening. Second, the guy is starter level now. IF he comes in, as of now, he can play either wing. When Saka is fit, he can take LW. Also, the guys legs will go if Arteta asks him to track back every single time
Honestly i don't think Arsenal will buy anyone without selling any player. Look at what happen to summer transfer window, we only able to buy with money proceed from other player we sell.
The worrying sign is that there is no signal nor rumours of us signing any big guy not even a lowkey profile player . Arsenal are set to disappoint us again I fear
Well, these rumors about possible return of veira is little bit concerning for Jan window cuz arteta would probably play viera at right wing, as he had done before

Believe ridiculous articles completely unsubstantiated by any proof and yep the club is the problem.
@@NakulKrishna 3 title failures in a row and 1600 days without a trophy👍
@@AyaGumede thank you!!
Edu missed out on both Guimaraes and Kudus, both 2 yrs ago were 35m each. Smh
We really did want them hey , I was convinced that we would get both - we would have been so strong 😭😭😭
Some of the decisions have been absolutely stupid arteta & edu have wasted a lot money in same area left back centre back and goal keepers when we needed top players like Kudas guimaraes Xavi Simmons and Mac allister all theee guys went for no more than 35 mil 2 seasons ago
@@tshepomalaka9679 instead of Guimaraes we opted for fabio vieira and Kudus we opted for Havertz twice the price, an absolute disgrace
Massive fan of Kudus. But it’s all useless if they don’t fucken buy this guy. He’s a baller go buy him
Better get ready for fabio viera
Kudus, Timber, Martinez…
Ajax players who are highly self motivated, regardless of the performance of the team, they aren’t affected.
Can’t say the same for Antony Onana and De ligt
You can rotate both Saka and Kudus from false nine to RW between them.
I would have bought him last year. I think he went for 35 million and we got Kai for 60. With some creativity you get both of them either we sell Eddie, which we should’ve done or restructure the deal in a way that makes sense for everybody and get them both.
Saka needs that competition
Kudus is the answer!
you guys are delusional if you think Kudus will jump ship half way into the season. Be realistic here for God's sake
You only focused on PL minutes. Add England minutes and Sake is playing a LOT more.
James been calling for kudus for time , Ajax days even
I thought of this channel while watching that first half from Kudus😂 Spot on, he could cover for Saka during the injury, then move into the 10, odegaard 8 and Rice 6. Or on the left wing
Kudus is a top player. He's also a level raiser but i don't think we'll get him.
This is a great video. There is something to be said about a team that is comprised of legitimate starters (or world class players) throughout. Yes, you've got a better chance at success. But you are also able to better "protect" your assets.
Saka doesn't need Kudus, Arsenal does 😂😂😂
Would you pay £90m for Kudus?
No. £90m is approximately twice what he's actually worth. Good player no doubt, but 90m is taking the pi**.
No chance he’s not worth 90ms
No, unfortunately, just not worth that amount. Rather save and spend 105-115M on ISAK
He showing his level better than Saka
@@antoniusdesir5585 how many goals has kudus scored at westham
For all you saying blah blah we cant spen d 85 million on kudus, kudus was topping charts with this westham team last season , imagine how better he would get if he came to arsenal , goodluck getting better quality less than that price point this window
When you were talking about, needing someone who can create something out of nothing. A maverick, I instantly thought of ryan cherki both footed and can play AM LW & RW james.
kudos ❤❤
We’ve gone big multiple times in January, we just didn’t manage to get the target we wanted.
To say ‘would Arsenal go big’ would be quite ingenious as you put it!
Good points well made James.
Love the videos James! I honestly think Arsenal are happy with being a top 4 team. We all know if we wanted to really push for the title we would sign someone in Jan. think if we don’t it just confirms are ambitions!
You probably wanted us to pay anything for Mudryk too?
Kudus is versatile also he can play on the left, right and attacking midfield
Saka tackles back and Salah doesn't do that recently as Slot wants to use him purely forward. Hes 32 years old, manager sorted him out. Salah was playing on the bench for Chelsea at his age
WE NEED KUDOS 🙏🏾
I know what you tried to do with the salah and hazard comparison, but everyone knows hazard was lazy and didnt look interested anymore. Maybe compare with players like ronaldo or giggs? Also i feel saka knows when to "rest during games," like messi does if you know what i mean.. unlike players like jesus martinelli and rice who just keep sprinting all game even if we are 2_0 up
Also everyone who says Saka relies on his speed in terms of hamstring is factually false- pace isn't a main factor within his skillset and style
Agree with your assessment… however I believe Arteta is an extremely stubborn man….he’s also got the team playing a predicable style which the opposition can read a mile away….we need to
re-enforce the squad with Lookman, Kudus, and a killer striker like Osihmen / Gykeros and go back to playing like 22/23.
I jumped the gun you mentioned the defensive numbers at the end
Not why Saka needs Kudus but Arsenal needs Kudus. Wake up James. You are one of the many Arsenal fans who's afraid of not brave enough to say it out that Arteta is not the right manager for Arsenal FC, unless of course you guys are just using your platforms for the money, no problem then change your narrative and stop behaving as if you care about the team's success because Arsenal can never be successful under Arteta, the Edu saga just cleared my doubts.
Salah doesn’t track back like saka he stands on the right wing and waits for Trent we don’t have someone with that passing range
I rate bro 100% over the likes of semenyo etc,his (kudus) numbers for his national team greatly outshines that of semenyo in the same national team!.
He is worth that 85 million a 100% ,he has that ability to create from 0 ,that x factor player, he has the ability to make things happen on his own , but there is so much you can do when youre team is not playing up to your level, if he comes to arsenal we are going to run rampage! And even when we get an attacker in the summer he goes into midfield as an attacking midfielder , who wouldnt want that kind of debt in their team
What about Kvaratskhelia from Napoli in the summer?
very quick and an unstoppable dribbler
not to mention a decisive player
@@Glory-Compass he will be a great signing in the summer but this january we need kudus

He is an incredible player, but I dont think we have the time he would need to adapt to the PL when someone like Kudus is already used to it and only has to adapt to working with his new teammates and a new system.
We were willing to spend 90M $ on Mudryk in January before we got Trossard, we need Kudus more than we needed him.
For those criticizing Havert, i say sorry to you all because the guy has improved greatly since after his first season.
Probabilities of us scoring when he's on the field increases
simon adingra should be a key target for us this window
I like the idea of Osimhen 66m and pushing Jesus off to the wings. I get the feeling arteta sees Oshimhen as another Auba character tho, which I dont see. Arteta looks vehemently at character as well as playing talent.
Unfortunately we will sign nobody in January or if we sign one player it won’t be the one we want/need
Just finished watching the Ipswich Chelsea game. We need more credit for how we controlled that game.
Arsenal were criticized for how they handled Fulham Everton draws and one goal against Ipswich town, remember Fulham after Arsenal's draw of 1-1 the next game they played Liverpool the game ended 2-2, after that it was Chelsea Fulham then the blues lost a Stamford bridge, came Everton at Emirates the match ended 0-0,they hosted Chelsea at the bridge it ended 0-0,then came city at Goodison Park ended 1-1,last Friday arsenal won by a goal against Ipswich town but even arsenal fans criticized their team for beating a newly promoted team by a goal to nill now today the same team has beaten Chelsea two nill.Arsenal should be given the credit where it deserves don't just criticize for the sake.Come on Brentford New year gift, Arsenal win.
i had been saying this, we have been rinsing saka since hes made his debut.
Might be wrong, but logically I don’t think I am.
cunha can fix 4 position 8,9 and wings
pattern shows that the board doesn't see it necessary to spend in the January window.
Correlation doesn't equal causation. Hazard stopped looking after his body thats why he retired at 33
Point made about minute played. We need to realize that these guys train with as much intensity as they play. It’s more of how they are managed after games
We need 2 quality players this January. A winger or striker and a creative midfielder.
Note:
If we do not sign a quality winger or striker this January, we will go trophyless this season
I would be thrilled with Kudus and/or Mbeumo but fear we get Veira back and Rashford
I see what you mean James, but does arteta demand too much tactically. I’m just scared if we get someone like kudus or an exciting winger and they can’t really express themselves
Cunha does the same thing from the left hand side of the pitch which we need more and for less money
We as a club waste the peak of a game changing player the likes of RVP,Sanchez and now Saka
Captain Scarlet is a talent and career killer:
Ben White needed surgury before the season started but Arteta kept playing him.
Rice had a broken toe but Arteta made him take corners.
He has run Saka into the ground.
Arteta MUST be replaced.
The defensive work he does as a winger is what kills him the most, Salah never defend.
people should stop justifying the Arteta PR the Man has been at the club 5 years without the EPL trophy or champions league title lets get real my man and a new man at liverpool wins it shame! its shame to Arsenal my club!
I like your opinion James because you wanted Kudus much earlier too
I would pay whatever West Ham wants for Kudus. He's good enough to be one of the best players in the Premier League.
Take a look at Nico Paz of Como, there is huge potential there
The 85 million release clause for Kudus isn't valid until the summer so it will take a bid of over 100 million to get him in January also he won't be sold now Bowen is injured
Plyers like Kolo Muani are available he can play across the front three and can score and take on player he also has a pass too
comparing playing match day minutes alone is not correct. you should factor in Training minutes and also effort and intensity during training.
we need a left sided, head-up, central midfield CONDUCTOR before anything
We can all dream, but these owners don't have the ambition, and this manager has proven his inability for years now to get our attack to the required level to win a major.
Saka needs cover for sure. Wingers have to work a lot offensively and defensively, especially with the way Arteta uses them. We need 2 players at every position and Arteta needs to rotate more. Saka's workload is not sustainable and I'm worried that Arteta will ruin him.
If Arsenal don't go big for a winger and/or striker we should forget about the league title. Our only hope for a trophy will be the cups.
Why would WHam sell now. Is his buy out active in January?
Where is the kudos video link?
Sorry!!
It’s there now!
@@pvids2648 if we can get olmo then good , but if we cant we get kudus
@@pvids2648 no shitting body is paying 150 million for isak
If he comes to Arsenal automatically Matineli will be warming the the Bench
First of all not happening. Second, the guy is starter level now. IF he comes in, as of now, he can play either wing. When Saka is fit, he can take LW. Also, the guys legs will go if Arteta asks him to track back every single time
Honestly i don't think Arsenal will buy anyone without selling any player. Look at what happen to summer transfer window, we only able to buy with money proceed from other player we sell.
A better analysis would be km run
Saka certainly has more due to defensive work
The worrying sign is that there is no signal nor rumours of us signing any big guy not even a lowkey profile player . Arsenal are set to disappoint us again I fear
Well, these rumors about possible return of veira is little bit concerning for Jan window cuz arteta would probably play viera at right wing, as he had done before
